Seriously though Buddy would F*** Riemers up
Doesnt matter if hes apparently crazy
Buddy would have 20 odd Kgs and 10 + cms on Riemers

Doesn't mean squat if you don't know how to fight.

It cracks me up hoe people always assume the the bigger guy will always win a fight even though they might not even know how to throw a punch.

A perfect example of this is Justin Langer. They guy is knee high to a grasshopper but would destroy just about any AFL footballer in a fight.

Is it just me that isn't delighted at the possibility of an Essendon player being involved in an off-field incident.
Having a nightclub fight on his resume doesn't make him some kind of legendary hard-nut. Show toughness on the field (which Reimers is doing) to get my respect, not late-night idiocy.

funny as, hope reimers put him in his place. Watching reimers go about his footy, i wouldnt be surprised if it is true. He is one hard nut, he is somewhat psychotic in jumper punching other players, he is relentless. but for some reason he doesn't seem to give away the soft free kicks which is kind of odd.

Please.....

And sarcasm is the lowest form of wit.

Not really a trait of a good sense of humour. ;):thumbsu:

Really? A lack of comrehension shows a complete lack of wit.;)

Anyhow, it was a good natured post. Hardly worthy of Dustbin's reply. I feel honoured he made the time though.

LOL.

Yeah, imagine posting on a thread involving one of our players. Nice timing for this weeks game by the young fellas.

You are right. We can't get enough of Buddy though. I might change my username to SirBuddy23.:thumbsu:;)

Yeah, beacuse being heavier and taller makes you a better fighter

For all we know Reimers could be a black belt in taekwondo and Buddy could have been pissed off his nut.

yeah and buddy could spa 4x a week and box like old mike tyson used too..
two sides of the coin dont be so biased!

reimers is a fiery little ant but is only 3 ft 6 so keep things in perspective mate it couldve gone either way

I know it could have gone either way. I was just pointing out that its not always the bigger guy that wins a fight.

I was having a chat with the President of our local club last week and he was telling me what Reimers was like as a junior. This is going back 4 or 5 years ago when young Kyle was in U15s playing for his club down Bunbury way in the Hillbilly south-west area.

At the time, the Prez was involved with the Peel Football League's devolopment squads and they were trying to talk Reimers into traveling up the highway so he could train with all the other promising young footballers and get a foot in the door towards playing in the PT Colts the year after.

Trouble was,Reimers was having a good year with the boot for his club and was up there with the leaders in the goal kicking tally and $1000 was up for grabs as the winner of the most goals scored. He refused all requests to join Peel Thunder's squad because he wanted to win the cash instead.

The words the Prez used about Kyle were.... "He was a dead set nutter. A feral. No body could tell him anything."

Ha ha ha. Love him. I guess that $1000 seems insignificant on his current/future wages but as a 14 year old it would be big money.

Somehow I think Matty Knights will probably involve himself with Reimers and drop him for a couple of weeks. He did that with a couple of his players earlier in the year because of what they were doing off the field.

Incorrect media reports about Reimers

Essendon today said that there is no truth in media reports that Kyle Reimers was involved in an altercation with an AFL player at a Melbourne venue on Saturday night. Club chief operating officer, Travis Auld, said he had spoken to the 19-year old Bomber and also the other AFL club mentioned in the media reports, and both confirmed that Reimers had not been involved in any incident.

Auld said the two players mentioned in media reports were simply at the same venue at the same time.

Essendon will not be making any further comment on this matter.

What about Barry Hall?

But yes I know exactly what you mean :thumbsu:

I would probably put my money on the little fella who is an expert and black belt in Zen Do Kai over a big brute who is handy with his fists.

It would be an intriging matchup in Ultimate fighting contest. :thumbsu:

Not sure if i would be calling him Sir just yet if i were you. :p

Might want to wait till i wins some flags, Brownlows, Norm Smith, 6 club champion awards and things like that before you put him into the Sir category. :D:thumbsu:

When it comes to guys 6 foot 6 and weighing over 100kgs, it is nearly always wise to call them all Sir.
