Terrible news but these photos are a great reminder that regardless of our last wretched 30+ years we are still a great club. Full of legends, amazing history and we are relevant.

Never saw him play myself but was a great of the club and the stature and respect he has from seemingly everyone connected to the club speaks volumes of his contributions and his character. Was a pillar of the club during some of our glory years too my dad told me. Very much a revered figure it would seem.

RIP Billy and condolences to the Barrot family.

Unfortunately I never got the pleasure of seeing Billy play and like most of the greats from way back,
there is all too little footage to showcase their skills and bravery.

Fortunately, Billy's deeds are etched in the records books and importantly, the hearts and memories of the Tiger faithful
