RIP Walter Becker

Steely Dan have been my favourite band since I was in high school more than 30 years ago. I've had the privilege of seeing them 3 times, in Melbourne in 2007 and 2011, and in Springfield IL in 2014.

It therefore saddens me greatly that one half of one of the great songwriting duo's in my lifetime has departed this frail existence. Not only a great songwriter, but bassist and guitarist,
