Played more games at Hawthorn than Richmond, I was suprised to see.

Only played forty odd games for us but being part of success means you get remembered. Back then though they didnt give forty-fifty games away as easiliy as they do now.

I have fond memories of him as part of that successful side and was suprised to see he only racked up forty games as my memories are pretty vivid for a relatively short time at the club.

Yeah ... only 40 odd game surprises me as well ... would have sworn he played more than that

Was a great administrator as well

a true Richmond man in the end

RIP to a premiership player and board member of the Tiges, One of the characters of the game, still remember him clowning around at nightspots in the late 80s with the players in tow. went too soon at 54,

Eat'em alive woosha:thumbsu:

Was one of my fave players in 1980. Was a bit of a cult figure. Sad sad news indeed.:(

Does anyone know cause of death?

RIP woosh.:(

Was one of myfavourites from the 1980 GF.
Every club that wins a flag has a success story of someone who sneaks in gets under everyone's guard. Woosher was ours.
RIP.

Can`t believe it

Was wondering what the Black armbands were for and they just said on the Foxtel coverage that he passed away last night .

No more details

Very sad day

Fought a brave battle against the beast ID. RIP Woosher, sympathies and thoughts with the family.

Guys, I only just heard about this this morning on SEN and KB was talking about his funeral.

I'm very sad at this passing as had met the great man and found him to be a ripper bloke in the mould of VFL players of years gone by, even a premiership player no less!

I'm grateful to hear that you have already worn armbands for Woosha and had've I known that last week I would've put my house on the Tiges to do it for Woosha and beat Essendon.

Sympathies to his family and to the Richmond family on this sad occassion.

Was it Woosh who laid that great tackle on Ronnie Wearmouth in the 1980 GF.....tackled him by the hair!!??

Remember it well:thumbsu:the incident that is, it was woosha alright, i'm just not sure if it was RW or some other Magpie maggot?.

RIP Woosha... condolences to his family and friends.
