Who will be the rising star on 2010
from the 2009 draft it is more a question of who will have the greatets immediate impact, rather than who will be the best player
therefore i have included more midfielders as they seem to have a more immediate impact on the game

there are some candidates from the 2008 draft as well

Please explain your selection

I have selected Gary Rohan, as i like the looks of him, looks like he could have an impact straight away

Tom swift. i may very biased, but he is genuinley a chance to take out the title. finished the year very well, and if he continues that form he will be right up there

I think experienced players like Swift, Hurley and Ziebell will be a very good chance next year. Had he not played one game too many this year, I'd probably have Steele Sidebottom in as favourite.

how is swift not in the actual poll.

other = tom swift

tom swift.

From the Pies, Ben Reid turns 21 next year and has played less than 10 games to make him eligible. His form in the VFL was very good this year playing in a new role across half-back. If he doesn't play every game next year, barring injury, I'd be surprised.

Jack Trengove or Luke Tapscott (maybe Sam Blease if he recovers fully). We'll surprise a few next year!

Rohan, Scully and Trengrove for me. I'm a Swans supporter and i'm sick of Roosy not putting in young blood. He did well last year but not enough. If he puts Jetta and Rohan in then we will have a devastating half-forward line that could beat most players for pace.
