Yep, but I thought Lonergan just edged though.
Riemers would have the best chance out of those three, had an awesome game.
On Neagle just quickly, after showing a bit in his first couple of games, i hope knights continues with him, where does this leave Gumbleton and Daniher in terms of peking order for that thrid tall postion in the seniors, I think Johns has done his race after tonights showing from Neagle, and will be delisted at years end (thank god *sighs*)
Thoughts......????
He is back.Reimers won't get it because of the boots, but he has played a super match. It will be interesting to see who else out of the rookies can match his performance. Get Gumbleton to have that German surgery and Essendon's forward line will look very nice.
PS: I'm all for the boots.
Spot on.Thought Lonergan was the best out of them tonight, have not seen any clearance or 1st posession stats but he was always in the contest and was one of the players who when he had the ball you could relax for a second knowing it was in the right hads.
I hope Daniher plays in the back. I remember reading last week that he hoped to have played on Franklin. Anyway, Neagle strong body and speed is perfect for our forward line. Plus his defiantly not like Johns.....Thank Goodness.

One thing Reimers needs to do is work on his disposal - he butchers the ball a bit especially last week. Can't question he has a go though.
Neagle is a natural footballer and is relying on talent alone at the moment. He will be super once his body matures and becomes more athletic. Kind of the opposite of Johns - who is all athlete just can't find the pill.
