Anyway for all my talk of resting Docherty, he's come up fine for this and could have simply been subbed out if tired.

Yes there was a slightly limp no-look clearance while being tackled, but of all the things to get mad about, that's not it.

He's often the one chasing 10 metres behind someone. His lack of pace has been glaring. I don't doubt he is giving more effort than most however.

Terribly disappointed with the players effort here. Pathetic display. Coach killer. Players not playing for the coach. Although he has a shit game plan, the players don't look interested. Look how many players haven't had a touch. They just won't run or show any intensity. It's too hard for a lot of them. They've just given in. Something drastically to be done if this continues.

he should have retired at the end of last year, end of story. We've gained nothing with him playing on this year other than stopping the development of a replacement.

Yep, all in all I think we're in pretty good shape.

There's some minor issues like not being able to actually football at all ... but how important is that for an AFL Football club anyway?
