Won’t say anything about Lynch, enough has been said. But I think he’ll be having a decent holiday…

Shattered for Lefau so hope it’s just a minor calf. A player of his size is something we crave up forward, someone that can compete in the air and still be a threat on the ground.

He didn’t get a heap of it, but loved Algers game today. Was involved all day one way or another. Good small forwards always find a way to kick goals out of nothing too.

Think Trainor needs a spell in the twos, don’t want to burn these kids out. Great to see him kick one.

First time someone has got a hold of Miller all year, it was bound to happen. Thilthorpe is going to monster opponents for a while.

The Sonsie experiment might be done I think. Just doesn’t do enough. One of those, too good for the VFL, not good enough for the AFL type players.

Not looking forward to next week…. Bring on the VFL.

Like every game, we’ll take the small positives. We’ll have good moments in games, which will become more frequent as some of the players find their rhythm and more game time. Trainor Nice goal, Alger x2. Banks good game.

Unfortunately Nanks is over the hill. Thrashed numerous weeks in a row. Tries hard but we need a bigger younger man.

The effort by Ross and Hopper in the middle to try and stop Curtain reflected their intensity.

Never again Sonsie or Green.

Balta must play Ruck and forward. Did well today.

Jonti needs time out.

Prestia was terrible esp his disposal.

I have never seen a team mis handballs fumble and do clangers to this extent before.

I'm done with Sonsie. He won't make it at our club and almost certainly nowhere else at the same level.

I'd be OK with giving him another week and Young another week in the 2s, given he's coming off an ACL. But coaches need to drill into him to play like he's got some balls.

Is Yze an asset or a problem?

I’m genuinely trying to give him the benefit of the doubt so I’m no hater of Yze at all, but our offence and midfield are just so inept. Last time our forward line was this bad was in the early 60s. Midfield is so slow too, and he’s choosing this midfield. I can’t help but wonder whether there are better coaches that could get our side to perform better.

Hard question to answer IMO with all the injuries that occur, but I’m probably not 100% on the Yze train like I was a few weeks ago. I’m starting to have my doubts
