Robbie Warnock - Exciting future ahead

had a fantastic year in the WAFL. I still think another full year in the WAFL next year will be best for him unless absolutely necessay for him to play firsts.

Warnock is exciting. especailly when u think that we can have the twin towers in ruck. Generally, it takens a long time to develop young talls and I think that a another year in the WAFL adding another 10kgs and strength. We dont need him at the moment to play as Sandilands and Longmuir do a good job and if one goes down then we can bring in Campbell, Warren/Polak (if they are with us) and Johnson to play back up ruck. Let him develop like a good wine and consider him as reserve ruck for 2008 and maybe 2009 the back up to Sandiland (when Longmuir retires).

A couple of games in a forward pocket early next year would be good for him to get a taste. Then if we need him due to injury at least we have an idea of how he may go, and he has an idea of what to expect. But minimum expectations for 2007.

I hope he goes well, we have his brother on our list and I am pretty sure looking to rookie him last year or something.

Hope to see him getting some game time, and will watch his progress with interest!

He was opposed to Leuenberger in one of the WAFL games. Apparently gave him the run around.

Warnock. 7 kicks, 4 marks, 10 handballs and 12 hitouts. 1 behind.
Leuenberger. 3 kicks, 3 marks, 3 handballs and 19 hitouts. No score.

I'm pretty happy that pick 42 from last year held his own against a top 5 from this year.

Warnock is nearly as tall as Sandi (I know that is a big nearly), and is showing a lot more than Sandi did at the same age.

If he continues to develop, and Sandi hits his peak in the late twenties as expected, we will have 15 clubs worth of ruckmen absolutely sh1tting themselves in about three years time.

Exciting future ahead indeed, especially for potential Freo midfielders.

JLo will turn 28 in 2009. Aslong as his knees hold up he should still be going strong in 2009 and beyond.

28 in 2009?
So that would mean he is only 27 next year...

I keep waiting for him to reach his potential...

i think Justin could be finished at the end of next year.

I very much doubt it. Though his form hasn't been great in this year, it can probably be attributed to his injuries. From what i understand he's contracted till the end of the 2009 season. On good money too.

hahaha, maths not your strongest subject? If he turns 28 in 2009 he must turn 26 next year.

I'm confident that if his knees are okay he will have a strong 2007.
