It was OK:eek: . I am not into caberat to be honest, But I guess 52,000 screaming woman can't be wrong. Sorry:eek: .

LL and I had an absolute ball! Waiting in the hot sun outside for hours, getting let in an hour early, getting the exact spot on the barrier at the pod at the end of his catwalk that LL had marked out months ago as our 'preferred spot' - and then watching some rather snotty folks get their noses out of joint thinking they were 'all that' when they flew in when the gates opened at 5pm only to find 400 odd people already inside and at the prime possies on the field.

Ahhhhh no such thing as too much Robbie today for me!

Oh, and no such things as sauce dispensers at Suncorp Stadium........just those little sqeeze packs you pay 50cents or whatever for these days! So no critique of their sauce dispensors available for comparison

Just heard Luke on 3SEN being interviewed about Robbie meeting with himself, Blacky and Browny. Hilarious stuff.

Apparently Robbie kept on telling his mate 'geez how big's this bloke?!' in relation to Browny and the radio jocks said Robbie's really tiny isn't he when Luke answered 'hang on, he's my height! About six-foot one roughly!' :D

When I go to Suncorp for Roar matches, they are for free, i get 3 or so for my chips lol. Did they charge at the Robbie concert?

No idea - I didn't do the food run. But you know the ones I mean - the ones they normally charge you for at shops!

Now........as for Mr Williams in our Jumper..........I think Vodaphone need to up their sponsorship - surely they couldn't be displeased with this:

I presume all the mothers on BigFooty will be appalled that Mr Williams flouted anti-smoking regulations and corrupted the impressionable youth by teaching them that it is cool to smoke and disregard authority.;)

Some fathers as well. I was. It was a bloody disgrace. Murder is against the law. Would he hang someone on stage just to flout the law and to be seen as a rebel? I know that is an extreme example but laws, though we may not like them, are laws. If you don't like them you vote for someone who will change them. Yours on a soap box an ex smoker who is everything you can imagine about ex smokers:);).

Robbie rocks with the Lions

British megastar Robbie Williams staged one of Queensland’s most memorable rock concerts on Wednesday night at Suncorp Stadium dressed proudly in a Brisbane Lions Guernsey.

The 52,000-strong audience erupted into cheers at the beginning of the show when Williams took off his jacket to reveal the maroon, blue and gold Guernsey. The image of Williams’ high energy performance in Lions gear was captured perfectly by The Gold Coast Bulletin newspaper.

The charismatic singer of worldwide hits such as Rock DJ, Let Me Entertain You and Angels was a huge hit with the crowd at the first Brisbane show on his Close Encounters tour.

Some Brisbane Lions stars had ‘close encounters’ of their own with Williams during a chance meeting earlier in the week. Players including Jonathan Brown, Luke Power and Simon Black had an exclusive opportunity to meet with the performer and discuss the finer details of Aussie Rules.

Williams is no stranger to Australian Football and told the Lions that he occasionally stays up late to watch the AFL match of the day live from London.

The team presented Williams with an honorary Lions Guernsey and football as a keepsake from his time in Brisbane. To their surprise, Williams decided to don the Guernsey for almost half of Wednesday’s concert.

The Brisbane Lions connection continued throughout Williams’ performance, as he made regular references both to the Lions team and centre-half forward Jonathan Brown. Williams even dedicated his hit single Monsoon to the Lions fans and they raised their hands in appreciation.

From the opening moments when he revealed the Lions Guernsey until he completed his final encore, Williams had the audience in a frenzy.

The Club would like to thank Robbie Williams and the Lions players involved for their efforts in promoting the Brisbane Lions.

Williams performed his final show in Brisbane last night before completing his world tour in Melbourne next Sunday and Monday. His number one album Rudebox remains in the ARIA chart’s top ten.

and if any of those parents were incensed by it then why on earth were they letting their kids go to his show in the first place. Robbie - talented yes - role model no!

Cozi, are you sure they are free? They have charged me 50c a couple of times. Other times they have either forgotten or just didn't see it behind my 4 and 20!
