Thought he was brilliant for the first 30-40 minutes of the match before copping a heavy knock which seems to have badly damaged his shoulder.

In my opinion he was best on ground at that stage, and he was setting the precedent for what type of football we needed to play against a top four team.

Even greater effort to fight on just to give another player a spell in the second half after getting injured.

It's a shame he got injured and couldn't completely shut up the naysayers with a four quarter blinder.

Great effort anyway.

Good response after the week before.

Was fantastic. If he doesn't cop that injury, we win.
Hopefully it's not too serious, and given the bye, maybe he'll be right for Sydney.

Really pleased with his game.
An in form Simmo and RObbo add so much more hardness to our team.

Leads the way with his attack on the footy and any opposition player in the vicinity. We could use a few more with that mindset.

We really need a couple of enforcers that won't stand for our captain being sniped. A couple of guys that aren't afraid to put people on their arse to get the point across.

Robbo was terrific last night, thought he was BOG in the first half before slowing down in the second. Had to respond after being given the red vest last week and he certainly did that.

His attack on the ball when at its fiercest is nothing short of manic, and that was well and truly on display last night.

Had 'kill' in his eyes and hunted the ball and the man time and time again.

Mitch has been down on his usual form thus far this season but last night he may well have turned a corner. Let's hope so as it was fantastic to see.

I loved how he just shot forward like a cobra to nail that Hawk player who was trying to be a bit clever, which ended up in us getting a goal.

I hope he has at least a premiership medallion to hang around his neck by the end of his career, he gives everything out on the field for us and probably leaves traces of his own blood and bone out there as well most weeks ;) so it would be thoroughly deserved.

i would think he is a long way from getting dropped. people here may criticise his disposal and what not, and maybe fairly so. but his effort/toughness is a much needed quality in the side. the sub last week would have been a kick to the guts and i dare say he gets a spray or 2 during the week for his disposal but long way from getting dropped.

I thought when casboult crashed into him he hurt himself. Good on him for soldiering on. Pretty sure with the bye he wont miss any footy. These things can be stingers for 5 minutes then feel pretty good. been there myself in local footy.

It doesnt bother me that he always kicks the ball high and long every time (hopefully he can change)

because its just everything else that he does that makes him so valuable to the team, goes 100% every time no questions asked, runs hard defensively every single time, puts in multiple efforts again and again and doesnt stop till the ball has left the vicinity. Robbo is team first!

I was amazed watching the replay this morning, he got smashed in that contest. 99% of players wouldnt have gone back onto the field but robbo did to help his team mates. He could barely light his arm however it didnt stop him from playing the way he always does, he went in 100% every time. He would go in lay a bump or tackle then stay down for 30 seconds in agony of his shoulder pain. Get up then next time ball came his way 100% in every time.

Its things like that which make him such a valuable member of the team.
