I think his chances have been raised a lil by the fact that Grover is likely to get a 1 match ban, missing round 1.

thornton/johnson on franklin.

the rest of their forwards are not worth worrying about. Croad will have to play back on mcpharlin/sandilands/longmuir/pavlich/polak.

let him play wafl and he can return for the all important round two clash at home.

Take him to tassie for a match with Gehrig.

I'd be a bit more respectful of Hawthorn. I think they have beaten us three out of the last three. They are bogie team for us.

I dont think Roger will be match fit for Williams. The only guy who could go with him is Walker. Even then he could carve us up. he's a freak and there's hardly anyone who can match him when he is on song. last year he kicked 5 but we had no walker and no Hayden.

Jonno would be a good match up for Franklin. As to the rest they are getting better and will still need to be at our best.

I don't know how fantasy footy works, but Haddrill doesn't normally end up with big numbers of possessions - his game is to negate a key position forward.

As to how he will go, he has always done at least reasonable well when up and running, but he gets injured quite a bit (As is the situation right now).

If you want a Freo defender that gets posessions then Scott Thornton would be a better bet - he ended up with some decent numbers last year.

Yeh I did, he was pretty cheap and am now just hoping he can perform
