Looked a little like a hyperextension as he changed direction, reminded me a little like franklins in 2011 final against geelong, played the week after. Fingers crossed the man has similar luck.

I'm gutted also but believe even if it's season ending he will return next year. I'm unsure why we'd write his career off. If he hadn't done his knee I'm sure most here would have been confident he'd play next year.

Gutted. Totally up to him but even if it is an ACL I reckon he might come back next season, he's an evergreen player who probably had/has 2/3 years left, and here's the ironic part, injury permitting....

Always so innocuous as well, really hope it isn't but you'd have to expec it is with news from the coach like that. Absolutely irreplaceable as captain & player.
