Surely Robin will be playing at Coburg this week.
In the wet every ball that was bombed into our forward line went to ground, but Nahas was very rarely anywhere near the ball when it came down.
Nason will walk back into the team when he's fit.

Also I think Andy Collins is a better wingman than small forward. As Richo said Tambling is a big "confidence player" maybe if he went forward to crumb he could build his confidence by snagging a few.

Either way Nahas must be gone.

by 'fit' i mean match fit you novice.
He can't play with blurry vision...

if he can't play cause of his eye, that counts as not being fit.

back on topic, nahas as much as i like him just seems to get brushed aside by defenders these days. i'd rather see another big body (rance, polo) take his spot in the forward line.

its not just important to replace him because of size. his ball use is ordinary unfortunately we dont have a pacy bigger bodied goal kicking small with very good skills. rance and polo do not have the skills to play forward.

collins is an old fashioned centreman he should be played thru the middle.hes played forward because atm we have few other decent options.
andy has put on 8 or 9kg but is still a miserly 80kg.he needs anther 5kg minimum, which will take another couple of seasons to do.

tambling imo has one position and thats coming of hb.unfortunarely for him newman deledio and connors have the smaller backline spots sewed up.its also a position where young players like dea should be given a go and developed.

Brilons, just admit your wrong mate
Nahas is rubbish and always will be, surely ben griffiths with one arm would be a better crummer than a fully-fit nahas...... nahas has similar football sense to a young jarrad oakley nicholls. He constantly stood behind the pack when JR8 was bringing the ball to ground in front

I'm not as critical of Nahas as some on here. I don't think he's a spud, but I don't think he has any plan B. When he plays well, he's constructive, but the difference between his worst and best is rather large (pun not intended).

People who thought Krak was a dud have NFI. Genuine talent who had a bad attitude playing at a unprofessional club where these things weren't addressed properly.

I just pray we don't end up going through it all again with Taylor...now that kid should be something special....hell, get Krak back just to teach him a lesson in the consequences of squandering talent.

Is it just me, or has he lost that electrifying pace (over the first 10 metres) and the manic attack on the ball/man that was so evident last season?

The grand final's played at the G. Would have been handy for the Saints last year in those conditions. Ten times the player Nahas is.

If Andy had Nahas's speed he would have been awesome.

As for Nahas - he's been a massive let down this year. Looks like the game has changed and made him redundant. He needs space to operate in as his only real weapon is speed. He doesn't have size and he doesn't have great finishing so under pressure he's not great.

i think he has lost all confidence in his pace and kicking. on the weekend there was a chance in the 3rd where he and jack were running for the ball at the 50 straight infront, being chased by north players. nahas got there a mile first and couldve arced right and basically outrun everyone to the goal line (there was a totally open 50). last year he wouldve been off to the races and unless he mucked up the bounce it was a sure goal. instead he stopped and spun to his left, tried to pass and nothing good happened.

hmm slow as a wet wick, lazy ordinary kick no motor very small a handful of possesions a game player. gifted 100 mostly very ordinary games at afl level and very much loved by richmond supporters for the odd flash of brilliance.all show and no substance dud.

I feel a bit for nahas, he certainly tries hard enough unfortunately for him he is a couple of lengths short of being up to it at the elite level, lacks the strength, ball winning ability and finishing skills that means he is having about 1 shot at goal a week instead of the 4 or 5 that need to be his stock and trade...either a trade or delist...MM or evern Polo should be getting games ahead of him
