think some of you have very very high expectations on the lad. I would be very impressed if we could get 5-8 games out of him in his first season. I look forward to watching his pregress next year.

22 would be ideal (plus a few final games on the side ;)). Would be great for his development. Realistically tho, 10+ would be a good achievement for him!

Positive thinking Thy, I like it.

Right now I'll say between 5-10 but would not be surprised at all to see him play a few more. His form late last year in the VFL suggests he is capable of stepping up to the next level much quicker than the normal draftee.

It was interesting to hear Mitch say he believes he'll be playing as a flanker or wingman early on. He is very good through traffic, good with his hands and really hard at the contest, you don't normally see that type of skill set in a flanker. I guess it has something to do with his body and putting on more muscle.

Very solid addition to our already solid midfield. Can't wait to see where he fits into Rattens plans. I think he could be an important piece to the puzzle, adding that extra toughness and penetrating right boot to the midfield/team.

Happy to give the boy a bit of time so 3-5 games would be great. If Simmo isn't at the top of his game though it could be a whole lot more. ;)

5-10 would be a good return. He's ready for AFL, but we don't want to bust his body up too early. There will be a lot of competion for his spot as well.

6

Going to be hard for the youngsters to get a senior call up from now on.... players simply wont be getting a game because they are either young or a high draft pick :thumbsu:

Agree.........more relevant to JR maybe......this kid looks better

Players also wont be just getting a game bcoz they are more experienced.....the Houlas,Hadleys,Bentick,JR,Wiggo,Banno,Cloke and Hammer will have to perform to hold their spot unless they really perform well and consistantly

Somewhere between 10-15. I don't see his body coping with 22 + games given how lean he is and the kamikaze style football he plays.

Pregress? Is that improvement he used to have?

Five to ten games.

Our midfield and halfbackline is now a relative strength, so we won't be rushing Robinson into senior footy like Walker and giving him games for the sake of it...Don't forget Chris Johnson is almost certain to be a Blue and will be ahead of Robinson because he has a more mature body.

he'll probably get given a go in the nab cup, and definately in the challenge matches if we (hopefully) go out after a couple rounds. from there its all up to him. the club seem pretty happy to get him so they'll definately be giving him plenty of opportunities, so as long as he gets runs on the board he'll stay in the team.

it would be hard though to expect a 19 year old first year player to play well week in week out at an above average afl standard.. so some stints in the bullants are probably likely. as a rough guess, id say 10-15

Can see him coming into the side around mid season and play 5 or 6 games, would be happy to get a few games into him.
