Hopefully he can trim it back. Look to be carrying a bit this year probably because he couldnt train properly. Anyone got any stats on his weight over the years? Seemed to look a whole lot lighter in 2002.

Weight has absolutely NOTHING to do with anything. AFL footballers are professionals, their weight is always monitored and kept in control. I dont mean to diss you or this thread, but its pointless.
Rocca's problem was always his tank and running out matches. Missing a whole year last year and missing a chunk of the pre-season set him back further. Its not his weight, its his fitness.
2006 season + 2007 pre-season is sort of like his conditioning for 2007 season where he should be as close to his career fitness as ever will be.

He was one of the most accurate shots at goal in the AFL this season. You are fooled by a misconception of his faults from years ago. He is a VERY good shot at goal these days.
As for the nickname, LOL its Pebbles, not Bam Bam.

If Tarrant goes, Rocca had better pull his finger out of his date as l don't know how many more excuses can be made about this overpaid and underperforming individual.

If only Rocca faced the same on-field scrutiny as what Tarrant does?

Rocca's weight is fine.
His fitness this year was pretty poor. I have always though however his fitness was underrated, when he was up and running. Sure he huffed and puffed a few times but he was able to manage his 'tank' and knew when to run and when to rest. If he can anywhere near the running power he had in 2002/2003 when he covered almost as much ground as Tarrant.

If Tarrant goes the biggest thing missing in our forward line will be his defensive pressure. This was a grossly underrated part of his game. He is one of the hardest working key position players in this aspect.

First of all, Rocca kicked 55 goals this year....a personal best! People tend to forget that! His weight is fine, a plyer's skin folds are monitored more closley than anything else!!!!

He is not a natural athlete, never has been so he has to work extra hard on his fitness!!!!!

He is an easy target, but at the same time when is on song people love him!
