Surprised I couldn't find any threads on this already, just got back from seeing it and was quite surprised I absolutely loved it, didn't think he could did it again. A big fan of Guy Richie's, wasn't as comedy based as Lock Stock and Snatch but thoroughly enjoyable none the less. Has some great characters that join the brilliance of the fore mentioned movies, notably Archie, Johnny and OneTwo. Recommend highly.

Saw a trailer for it on BAR and thought it looked good. Seen mixed reviews however some saying that Guy Ritchie's Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels was a fluke because everything else is shite but then i've seen other reviews saying that he's back to his best. May catch it sooner rather than later.

This was ****ing awesome. One of the top 5 movies I've ever seen I think.

To put this statement in perspective, I don't generally rate Ritchie's films. Wasn't a massive fan of Snatch, and didn't like Lock Stock at all. I respected the fact that the plot was so well developed, constantly made sense and didn't turn into the ridiculous.

Definite recommendation. *****

Agree with the Stroker.

It was a very solid movie. Didn't like it as much as Lock Stock or Snatch but still very good. I'd give it 3.5 or 4 out of 5.

I really enjoyed it, definately worth seeing.:thumbsu:

Snatch is my favourite Ritchie film but this was pretty good too. i enjoyed it more than Lock Stock.

Funniest part was the indestructible Russian goons...a good laugh:thumbsu:

Gotta disagree with most of your guys, would rate this movie probably level with Snatch but still a fair bit below Lock Stock, which I absolutely love. Definitely worth seeing although
highlight to reveal --> didn't like the way they sort of left the storyline of Uri up in the air, with only the comment from Archie to go by

BTW everyone the sequel is already written

That helps explain the ending a little bit - I really enjoyed the movie but there were a couple of loose ends that weren't really tied up IMO.

Thought the first half or so of the movie was pretty slow. Was expecting it to be funny all the way through. Second half of it was bloody good. The Russain blokes were a laugh and the back hand bit was also gold.

Was very disappointed.

Love Lock Stock and Snatch, but this one is not even in the same ballpark in terms of humor, story, tying things up etc etc. I'm very surprised at the amount of love it's getting on here.

I agree with this guy. Lock stock & 2 smoking barrels is the kind of movie i could watch a couple of times mainly due to the dry wit used by several of the cast & Vinni Jones is good as the stand over man. Where as with rocknrolla i doubt i would be able to watch it again .... it had it's funny moments as other people here have already mentioned... but they were too few & far between. Maybe Ritchie tried to squeeze too much into one film or maybe it was because the film jumped around a lot.... i don't know... i would rate it 3 stars maybe & that's being generous i think.

bloody brilliant film.

it is going to be a trilogy if it gets enough love, and i thought it was really great, right up there with snatch and might even be better than lock stock.

loved seeing Gerard Butler (leonidas) kicking arse and the scene with him and handsome bob at the salsa bar was a pisser!:p

other favourite scene was johnny quid beating the shit out of a bouncer with a rubbish bin.

****1/2*:thumbsu:

Saw this today and i must say i was very dissapointed. Not even in the same league as Lock Stock and Snatch and i expected more from Guy Ritchie.

3/10
