Paul Rudd and Seann William Scott star in Role Models as Danny and Wheeler, two salesmen who trash a company truck on an energy drink-fueled bender. Upon their arrest, the court gives them a choice: do hard time or spend 150 hours with a mentorship program. After one day with the kids, however, jail doesn't look half bad. Once the center's ex-con director (Jane Lynch) gives them an ultimatum, Danny and Wheeler are forced to tailor their brand of immature wisdom to their charges, Augie (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) and Ronnie (Bobb'e J. Thompson). And if they can just make it through probation without getting thrown in jail, the world's worst role models will prove that, sometimes, it takes a village idiot to raise a child.
Anybody else caught this film yet?

Saw it last night, absolute pisser, could not stop laughing.

Saw it last night as well, some killer lines it.

Three quotes that got some of the bigger laughs were;

Gayle: Me and the judge have a special relationship... I don't wanna get too graphic but I sucked his d*ck for drugs.

Danny: I bet if I suggested a game of Quidditch he'd cum in his pants.

Danny: Pick us up in two hours.
Ronnie: F**k you, Miss Daisy.

I saw this in the states in November. Top film, love all the films these guys throw together...

From the first scene when Seann William Scott says "Guess what I did last night" you know it's going to be a funny film...

I'm glad to hear this is funny, I'm a big fan of SWS.

As am I, but I find it hard to look at him without thinking of Stiffler. he was great in this

Was very disappointed, way too family friendly for an MA rating.

i'm pretty sure lines like these bumped it up to MA... they aren't exactly family friendly... some pretty handy nudity too... remember american pie was rated MA back in the day

Gayle Sweeny: Me and the judge have a special relationship... I don't wanna get too graphic but I sucked his dick for drugs.

Gayle Sweeny: You know what I used to have for breakfast? Cocaine. Know what I had for lunch? Cocaine.
Wheeler: What did you have for dinner?
Danny: Was it cocaine?

Gayle Sweeny: Why don't you lay out two lines of your selfishness, which is your blow, draw the shades, take the phone off the hook, grab a straw, and snort!

Same. I saw it in Phoenix on November 7, the day it opened. Hadn't heard anything about it but it had funny written all over it.

Thought her 'lines' were quite poorly delivered, as opposed to The 40 year old Virgin, not one laugh from the whole Medieval scenario, the camping trip and the family dinner were the only parts I enjoyed.

I can see how people can find it funny, but I think my high expectations of SWS and especially Rudd got the better of me.

I loved the subtle movements of the King, when they're in the diner and makes Danny kiss the ring, he moves his index finger slowly up to Danny's nose:D. Also in the final battle when he walks out of the castle and rubs his minion's sideburns. This subtle stuff is what made it so funny.

Also loved Ronnies dance when they go to Chip Monk Charlies

Very funny movie. Bloody breandead people in the cinema though. About 15 other people, laughed about once.

i found the same thing, a lot of the best bits (all the subtle comedy) got no reaction from a packed cinema but everytime ronnie swore the place exploded with laughter.

I finally got to see it last week.

I really enjoyed it
The story arc was formulaic but the actual execution was quite creative.

Paul Rudd and SWS are always enjoyable, Elizabeth Banks was incredibly hot as always, Mintz-Plasse was excellent, Ken Jeong as King stole the show and there was some nice boobage thrown in as well.
A nice all-round package to keep a man entertained for a few hours.

Oh, and the whole 'large/venti' scene had me out of my seat.
Paul Rudd said everything i wish i had the balls to say.

No, venti is twenty. Large is large. In fact, tall is large and grande is Spanish for large. Venti is the only one that doesn't mean large. It's also the only one that's Italian. Congratulations, you're stupid in three languages.

BTW Whispering eye ftw :D

likewise, the funniest parts were the trailers seen on tv.
some good scenes featuring impressive puppies though.
