Rookie Listers

Hawthorn have the opportunity to play two rookies this year. Who would be your choices?

I think most had a chance during the Wizard Cup. Did Ben Kane play today for Hawthorn?

I'd put up Micky Osborne and Matthew Ball. Nick Stone is a chance though, due to his height.

I'd probably go with Hitter re Ossie and Bally , although Stoney IS getting a lot of footy.

Benny Kane played for Box Hill today against Frankston and absolutely killed 'em. His form is top notch and I wouldn't be surprised to see him get a call up later in the year should we get a long term injury. At this stage he simply needs more footy under Donald Mac who has a real knack with talented kids.

Thanks guys. It seems like the Hawks might have a fairly good crop of rookie listers again. Osborne and Ball both caught my eye for Box Hill in the GF last year. They both looked very impressive. I saw Ben Kane play in the game v Sandy two weeks ago and I thought he took a few good marks and showed a little bit. I also saw him play a couple of TAC games last year.
