Only 3 genuine ruckmen on the primary list, Grimley playing as much as a defender as ruckman for BHH (I think? BH watchers can confirm). So I don't think we're overloaded here - just protecting ourselves in case someone breaks down.

We lost Renouf and looks like PJ wont be back now (judging by picks today), so I guess thats two in two out. We also lost Lisle as a big option (Lisle forward, Roughy Ruck) so I supposed it makes sense.

You realise that PJ was our only remaining ruckman in the finals series last year. If we had beaten Collingwood and played in the GF and one of the ruckman had been injured in the Collingwood game, he (PJ) would have played.

Seems as though we got what we needed before pick 69 and used to selected a hardened body who is also regarded as a leader amongst the Box Hill squad. Doubt he'd play any games.
