I count 19 not on our list anymore from three years ago

Give it a rest FFS, you only ever appear on matchday to pot the team and then Lyon.

We are all hurting as it is.

Ross is contracted and the board are with him on this journey, but the knives will be out next year if there is no imptovement

Free speech can always block me, just a peasant like yourself, my posts have as much meaning as yours, a forum is an outlet and I don't single you out

I learnt that when you are 3 years younger, 50 games less experience and can't hit simple target by foot, you don't win too often.
We couldn't beat Hawthorn when we were flying in 2013 with the best, most experienced list we've ever had going into finals. That team bossed almost everyone that year. Nothing has changed. We can beat other teams who are susceptible to our effort based, defensive gameplan but Clarkson worked it out years ago and Lyon has never been able to counter it.

Yep we are simply uncompetitive whenever we come up against the hawks. Its embarrassing.

Its not like we are pushing them either. All the games are generally over by quarter time

Your posts are all low content - no analysis, all tears... basically a cancer on the freo board
Like the entire FFC history? All tears, low content and cancer for supporters, shut even Carlton won a Premiership in our history, actually I think most clubs have

Bye Ross. The players and fans need a different voice. Nothing personal it's just human nature.

Thanks for the memories and I sincerely hope you've now secured your financial future.

I'm in the realist camp. There's no chance Ross isn't coaching next season. Also no rebuilding side averages 14 goals a game.

That said, Ross should be under serious pressure. This club needs to stop accepting mediocrity, ironically we did when we first hired Ross and now we need to again. That doesn't necessarily mean sack him, but he needs to show real improvement along with this young team.

Got to clean out the assistants and get some quality around him as a last resort for him. If that doesn't work then the problem is clearly him and he should be removed pronto. The trouble is we should've done it this year to give us time before entering into a new agreement with him.

To be fair to Ross, their players on average were better than ours. I agree that he has a problem with the Hawks but I'd like to see a fair fight with even teams over a few games. That Hawks team was the circa 2010 Spanish national soccer team of the AFL. So damn skillful.

I 100% agree that keepies off is the most effective tactic if you can execute it. You need a damn good team to do it against gun effort sides though. That's why I wouldn't tip the Hawks against the Tigers because the Hawks aren't good enough anymore. We just don't have the requisite experience to show them up.

This is a fantastic post. Did you think for a second before posting this or was your focus more on articulating such narrow delivery? I think you'd be great friends with Gerard Whateley, are you apart of the Accipitridae family?

Do you use big words on forums that no one uses in every day conversations to feel intelligent? We've beaten them one of 11 times since 2013...

Brissie have done it twice with the same game plan borrowed by Fagan but with less experience than us. Good coaches have plan B, C and D's.

Small point of order, Brisbane are actually a full year older and ~20 games more experienced on average. At least this week.

Agree on the stylistic issues though, we really struggle to cope because that pressure game plan only works when you pressure an opponent into making a mistake. Can't pressure a bloke who gets hit on the tit and takes an uncontested mark.

I doubt they were when we played them this year and certainly not last year. My point stands regardless. Game plan is the main issue against Hawks etc, etc.

Less so in that game than this week but the point still stands. Likewise your point stands. I just feel generally that people tend to overlook just how drastic the change in our list has been over the last couple of years, and it will be even more so after the end of this year.
