1. Simon Buckley

Like the majority of the side, he did not stand out. Has some nice pace on him, and looks good moving out of a pack.
Ordinary game though. 4/10

Still makes some god-awful skill errors.

Still makes some god-awful skill errors.

Much like the rest of the team...

Anyway...18. Brad Green

Felt like he was hardly sighted in the first half, but finished the game with 23 possessions and 2 goals. Statistically a pretty good game, but had little impact early. Would like to see him stand up early in games if he wants to be a midfielder, otherwise should start as a leading forward and work into the midfield during the game.

Can we bring back luke williams he has captaincy material on todays performance.

I will adopt jeff white, and as his guardian i will advise him to retire as of today.

22. Brent Moloney
12 kicks, 10 handballs, 3 marks, 6 tackles, 77% effeciency
One of the few highlights of the day as a demons supporter. Brent exerted his physical presence on the contest and won some contested ball in the middle. Still made a few skill errors (6 clangers) and discipline was a problem (5 frees against), but he at least has a dip unlike many of his team mates. 6/10

20. Colin Garland
7 kicks, 7 handballs, 5 marks, 3 tackles, 71% efficiency
Started the day on Chance Bateman before being moved into defence. Tried hard but like many of his team-mates his skills were not up to it. 3/10

2. Jones.

Poor bloke tried his heart out all day surrounded by a bunch of squibs and talentless hacks. One of the few blokes playing for MFC that can look himself in the mirror tonight.

next Melbourne Captain.

6 - Matthew Bate - still recovering from a hammy and so was one of the lucky ones who isn't responsible for what happened tonight
44 - Shane Valenti - still sittling on the rookie list, but one long term injury and he'll get a game pretty quickly, could have done with his toughness tonight to help out Jones

His main rival, McLean, was also in our top 2 today.

Neitz: Had a few reasonable leads but couldn't kick to save himself and wasn't able to dominate a weaker opponent like he used to be able to. Having Croad go off after 5 minutes didn't help him as I'd have hoped it would have. His failed bump on Dew was the saddest point of the day for me. I know that Dew is a solid guy but I felt very bad watching a player, who was once one of the most intimidating around, fail to even raise an eyebrow.

1/10

2 of our better players today tbh.

Stefan Martin and Matthew Warnock were not to be seen. Similarly to the other 22 players meant to be at the G this Sunday evening

PJ - 7/10

Very good I thought, especially early on when we were getting smashed. Finally starting to put his mobility to good use, move over Jeff White I reckon.

Neitz should have retired for the team - the $$$ and the pride got in the way of the best interests of the team - if he wasn't a legend of the MBF.........

what a shame i havent got anyone :(. Wont have to report on how bad they are week after week. LUCKY ME!!! WOO HOO:D

28 - Isaac Weetra: Non-existant really, no impact on the game, apart from a few loopy handpasses that put the rest of the team in trouble. Poor showing from the first gamer

1.5/10

Dunn: much like Rivers, needed more match fitness. Has apparently shaved his mop, looking forward to his return.

was in your best 5 for the game. better than good old selfish Mcdonald.

Bang, right through the centre of the goals.

He needs to go. Mid-season if necessary, looks all at sea out there.

21 - Daniel Bell

13 poss, 1 mark, 3 tackles

Played reasonably well considering the pressure our backline was under all day, but probably could have provided a bit more rebound. 5/10
