Never played SC before, always done DT.

I'm 1426/14 with Newnes, Shaw, Gibson, Van Berlo, Fyfe, Gray, Clark and Bartel to come.

Just wondering what score I should be hoping for and whether I'm on for a good score or not.

Ablett 12 kicks 7 handballs 1 mark 0 tackles 0 hitouts 2 goals 16 contested possessions 5 clearances 4 clangers 74%DE - 119SC

If you want to pretend a 19 possession game is worth 119 I think you'd want to see a few tackles - and fewer than 4 clangers.

Even Sidey who had 19 touches at 100%DE and 2 goals, 5 clearances and NO clangers was shafted with his 136 compared to Ablett's score.

I think it's an overreaction. Yeah it was a bit high, but he had a few goal assists, lot's of contested ball, didn't butcher it as much as everyone is saying (apart from that one handball), and those goals had them coming back. Thought 90-100 was around the mark, maybe a little more.

Don't forget that in SC there are more or less a fixed set of points to go around per game; they have to go somewhere.

Just because you don't understand the scoring system, doesn't make it crap. I watched both games and GAJ was more influential on the game than Pendles.

4 more contested possessions, 3 goal assists (which you left out) and two goals halfway through the last quarter.

A few of those hit outs have definitely been to advantage. I'm thinking I may have overspent but don't think his score will be that bad. Happy I took the C off him though.
