Love it. Adel U should beat Melb V in the semi's. and lose 3-1 or something in the final

Erm wtf? No we want to beat them in every game from now on in!

Wonder if Drum will now actually support Adelaide United cause it means he'll get to see the Crows at home. (Was a joke Drum!)

I don't want the game to be moved

Got some flights you can't get out of then CG? OOO just remembered my mate is meant to be in Melbourne that weekend he was looking forward to it as well and he has to go he can't get out of it!

It means United are in the GF though that's not all bad!

Damn cancellation fees

I know it would be awesome if United were in the grand final, but.... damn the AFL could they get any worse? Surely they could've foreseen this situation. I mean moving a game to a whole different state.

They probably did forsee it - which is why Port wasn't playing in Adelaide in round 1...? But they weren't going to play it in Adelaide "just in case it clashed." If it was a real game of football, they would've had it in Adelaide from the start, but since it's during the "paper cup" they probably didn't realise people would be out of pocket because not many people would actually fly over for it.
This is exactly why we don't have a multi-purpose ground!

If they did foresee it why wouldn't they schedule it in for the place which doesn't have the chance of hosting the A-League Grand Final? I doubt they would've looked far ahead.

Better that its at AAMI for most people as most would not be going to MElbourne for a round one NAB Cup game. The AFL terms and conditions would say that venues for games can be moved at any time. Disapointing for those fans who have booked flights nevertheless. I doubt United will win in any case:(

I'll be happy with it, it'll be a trial run for me since I just moved to West Lakes coz now I get to have a few drinks and WALK to FP w out being designated driver and having to worry about a park and taking over an hour to get home after!

Oh yeah plus it'll be good to actually see the youngsters live in action since I guess not many will be able to make the trip over for just a NAB game :)

If it is moved to AAMI then I'll probably get minimal sleep that Saturday night because I'm on a 6:55am flight to Melbourne the following morning for the Prisoner 30th Anniversay party.

Was thinking of going to the game because I'll be in Melbourne from Sunday-Tuesday after game, but then couldn't justify paying another nights accommodation and dearer flights on the Saturday for a NAB Cup game.

Well, at this point I'm happy, don't have to cancel a flight or accommodation.

We are well and truly the Victory's bitches!

I was always pessimistic going into the game last night. Once they got that goal early you could tell on the body language of our players that they thought it was over. They had a red hot crack early and then after that goal went into their shells.
