Due to the fact that AFL teams were not named long before TM teams were due, Matt Egan will be counted in Melbourne's round 1 score as the 18th player. Melbourne's score becomes 1063 and they defeat Essendon by 4 points.

There are no more Thursday games so this should not be a problem again.

While on the subject, don't name emergencies, I'll either ignore them or just count them as interchange players depending on how I feel on the day. You don't have to name 7, the idea is for you to think about your team and work out how many bench players you may need.
