Mids get back on level playing field and we’re still right in this, just need to give our backs a hand. Work rate not good enough inside, Yeo can’t do it all himself, need someone else killing themselves to get the footy.

Why do we keep kicking down that line slowly time and time again this quarter? Crows get a dodgy decision of two and run on and we have lost our bottle.

Lazy. It’s not that the forwards aren’t presenting, it’s the backs and mids aren’t connecting properly and are kicking the ball under pressure.

Doesn’t help that the backs are all exhausted.

They went a lot harder and used the bell better outside. Our forwards dont contribute to team defence. Waterman is a good WAFL player I am afraid. Willie is underdone and some kids lost a bit. Shuey etc need to work much harder.

PS the weather has nothing to do with it.

Beets gave away the plan - just hack it forward and rush the defenders because they panic.

Every one of them panics - Hurn, McGovern, Schofield, Sheppard and Duggan. Why are they so poor one on one defending when the balls on the ground?

At times this season this team has just been plain embarrassing. Too many players waiting for the easy ball. Not enough players running both ways and refusing to pick someone up.

In a nutshell, players are still living off the glory from last year.

And if anyone can find the real Andrew Gaff, not this pale imitation, bring him back.
