Does anyone know if the bye round "top 18" rule is only used for your league match while your 22 man score will still be used for your overall position?

I'm trying to work out if I should bust my ass to field a full team (I only care about overall position).

• first trade locked: mayes -> staker
• second trade has to be: leuenberger -> goldstein/nic nat (can only choose ruck with round 12 bye)

so the question is, should i go nic nat or goldstein?

Why are people bringing in Hrovat next week when he's got the bye and not expected to rise in price until the week after? He has only played the one game so far right?

Is it just a case of people being better prepared for the byes/teams performing better than mine?

Considering 4-6 weeks for Leuey there is no point holding him.

Boyd is a proven top 8 mid, but hasn't had convincing scores this year. As he has the bye next week, wait a week.
Barlow has been scoring well recently but I'm not completely sold on him yet. Would be a good POD though, and has shown good scoring.

Assuming you have SJ? Bartel and Nic Nat share the same bye... It's a tough one. Personally, I'd go Bartel. - Proven. Nice ceiling. Consistent. Midfield role (sometimes?).

Nic Nat is just as good but he'd probably be worth more to your team if you had him in the rucks.

Naitanui ticks all the right boxes this season- underpriced, break out year, midfield role, top 8 team, etc. etc. So flip a coin if you have to.

Thanks... i am sliding towards Nic Nat.. more out of how much spare cash it leaves me. Although that could all change with Leunbergers injury. Maybe its time to trade Daw (my 3rd Ruckman).

Going to hold Mayes and Ellis I think. Trade Terlich and Pittard. Double downgrade to Staker and Hutchings moving Goodes to def.

Play blicavs for a couple weeks. Take the $$$$$ into the byes with the two fresh cash cows and freestyle it from there.

Need to try something a bit risky. Will plan to do lots of upgrades during byes, while others are scooting sideways and ending up with a lesser team at the end. Keep my options open as long as possible while fielding an ok team. Very vague and not much logic behind it, it might just win me the car.

Leuy being out for a month is annoying but my focus is on the league so probably gonna cop the 0 this week (I'm assuming Daw will get dropped which will leave me with no cover) whilst bringing in two players that are gonna make significant cash this week (Ball, Staker) and do Leuey -> Nicnat next week. Really is a frustrating time for him to get injured (right before I could take advantage of having Rucks with different bye rounds)
