Given the yo-yo nature of my team, in particular VC/ C choices, I've been backing form (or is it akin to chasing points?)

Stuff it - I'm going to back who I want and disregard everything else:

Mills can go huge at the SCG, worth a gamble against the Tigers who don't tag.

Macrae against West Coast seems like an extremely safe captain option as a backup

If Hamilton is my only loop option again I will have to go with a VC from the Friday night game so probably Mills and if he fails then it will be a choice between Neale, Oliver and Macrae for the C.

I prefer Witts. Has been so consistent this year. Hitouts, marks, link up play. The complete package. Fifth for total points, 3 round average of 125, 5 round 131.

Touk has often started sloppily this year and with one notable exception it's materially affected his subsequent scoring. Last year he seemed to be so much cleaner earlier and would getis 10+ possession first quarters. Still a gun but naturally copping attention this year. Other Sun's rarely seek him out or honour his leads, which hasn't changed from last year.
