Neither, because Melbourne aren't a finals team. They played us off a short break, also when we are terribly out of form. Last weeks game was just a reflection of how this season is, advantages to some teams for a period of time, and then others for a next period of time.
Let's not forget, this season is only being played out, so the AFL gets it broadcast rights money in turn the clubs get their share. Great incentive to play the season out, but any equality really, has gone out the window, as it's advantage the interstate teams...
