Thought Ebert looked really good tonight.

Agreed, as did Masten and S.Selwood. Spangher was good to, in fact all our youngsters stood up.

1st half belonged to Priddis, Lecca, Scott Selwood and Ebert.

In the second half, Kennedy, Masten and Naita put their stamp on the game.

Masten was good tonight. The last 2 weeks he's racked up some big numbers. His pass to Kennedy on the lead was great. It shows he does have the disposal skills required for him to take the next step. It just needs more consistent application. He's another future Gun!

How awesomely funny was it when NickNat thanked Woosh for "giving him the opportunity up forward"? Woosh should be thanking our scouting staff.

That game was amazing. If Niki-Nat's 3rd goal isnt considered for goal of the week the panel should be all shot, but in saying that there were lots of good goals this round. Has the be the raising star this week surely

Well said gws. That was stirring stuff and I reckon you might have got your excitement fix at last, am I right? That crowd was the best I remember an eagles crowd being in a H&A match.

And Lynch shouldn't be forgotten in this, because I am one of his biggest critics but he threw his weight around tonight and held the ruck together well! In fact, have you seen an Eagles team work for each other like tonight, congratulating, patting, sticking up for? Not for a couple of years anyway.

The players and particularly the kids sticking up for Naita in the 1st term against Taylor (not that he really needed it ) really set the tone.

And I agree, kudos to Lynch. The big fella didn't stop working and he did a great job.

Yeah I thought Lynch used his body really well, threw himself at the ball on a number of occasions and did well with Cox not playing. One of our best.

Just re-watching the game now, looking at things you don't always pick up when you're at the ground- Rosa has been very good, the umpiring has still been horrible, and Masten is going to be a very good player.

Also watched us get a free kick near the start of the third, Sewell with one arm held tried to break about 5 tackles and got pinged HTB, said to the umpire "did you see him holding my arm" and the ump said "you've got another arm so use it" About the only positive thing I could get for the men in red tonight.

I had to go to a party and didn't see the game (except for when I snuck off to watch the last 10minutes).
