Who should i pick as capt. Sammy Mitchell, Buddy, or Brown? I have Mitchell as capt right at this min but im thinking about going with Buddy as its against WC.
Wikes should play on him and Woosha will not play someone infront of him to cut off the marks as he doesnt believe in that style of play.

Pavlich looks the safest best but the other two could post monster scores.

I just don't understand this logic. I have read it a bit recently how people have this feeling that he is going to have a bad one. One of these days he no doubt will, but as a betting man, I would always rather be on the favourite.

If there's one thing my old man taught me, it's that if you can see a winner, stick to it. The successful punters use this theory while the mug punters battle away trying to predict when the streak is going to end. Occasionally one wins big because the streak inevitably always ends, but by then all of the smart punters have made a killing.

Take roulette for example. If there's a run of 6 blacks, stick your money on black. Go with the run, not against it. Runs don't happen that often so when they do, you need to take advantage quickly and go with it not against.

He is your biggest weapon - use him, you wont be disappointed.

I agree with the idea of this, but the roulette example is pish. Black / red in roulette have identical odds, independent of the 'run'.

Anyway, in the case of picking a captain, sticking with the winner, as the quoted poster suggested, has to be the best bet, because history tells us that he is in good form and there is no reason to suggest that it wont continue.

Im going with Ablett - the safe bet.

I'm taking the punt on Buddy.. I'm up against a sh%t team this week so I'll have a go. Brown was my next best option but read in the ol' form guide on the SC website that he's only booted more than 2 goals once or something v the Dee's and the game being at the G sways me over to Buddy..

I realise they have identical odds - doesn't stop the runs occurring. Go to a casino and take a look, it happens. All I am saying is that it is better to go with a run rather than betting against it ending.

I havnt had a capt to score over 100 since buddy did around 5 weeks ago lol and i still get over 2000 a week.

Yes I'm an anti-Frankline person (for his arrogance), but you must have at least 1 good mid-field to make captain...Ignoring my personal dislike of Franklin, be as an SC point of view, he is a hit and miss player....

You must have one of: Cox, Pavlich, O'Keefe, Riewoldt, Cooney, Ablett, Goodes, Dal Santo, Black etc

Having said this, he'll come back and score 200+ the next game he plays.
