I don't think it is so much a matter of Harry not deserving selection but who would sit out to make way for him right now?

Wojcinksi on the HF flank and rooke at centre half back? i would of thought the roles would be reversed!

Yeah there is def no room for Taylor. To be honest i think the team we have is just about our best team! Hawkins maybe in for Longergan is the only change id see for September action. Nothing against Lonergan, he is a fantastic player and versatile. But i just think Hawkins has that X factor!

I think Varcoe if he has a good game with a few more possessions will rap up a spot for the finals. As hard as Byrnes works, Varcoe's skills and defnesive pressure are possibly more important.

Prsimall is a good emergency in case one of our midfielders gets injured!

My understanding was he only was dropped for the Crows game for match up reasons....so it just seems harsh to leave him out again...although as i said earlier he had a shocler gaainst freo at subi

Would hardly call it a shocker for a first year player opposing a All Australian playing the best footy of his career.

Who do you drop to bring him back?

At the risk of opening up the 'horses for courses' can of worms again - and as much as I love Harry - we don't need 3 tall KPP backmen against Freo.

He'll get his turn - and we need him fresh for the run home and the finals.

We need him fresh but we also need him with AFL games under his belt (which he does not have).

Freo have the option of going up tall in the forward line if they want though. Thats what I am worried about; that they will just load up similiar to North and hurt us that way. I dont think it would actually matter considering we'll hurt them in the midfield but still...

Rooke on Pavlich is a great match up in my mind. Much like Rooke vs. Goodes. Especially in the wet, i think Maxy could really negate Pav's influence, it was clear last game that Pav was just a bit too strong and agile for Taylor....plus Rooke can deliver some pretty big hits if Pav starts to get too much...let him know about it!

I agree that this must be close to the best team we can put on the track. Moving to next year if every one is still fit - Egan back, Nathan might be back, Prissa has to have more game time - how do you fit them in!!

I think I'd prefer to keep Max Rooke in the line up over Harry Taylor, only because it's expected Freo will come out and play rough. I know we've had the "rough tactics" before but after the last Freo game you have at least give it a little credibility rather than saying "Yeaaaaaaaaah thats what everyone says before a Cats game."

I love the roughness of Maxy and think he'll put force back into the game if Freo get the jump on us

Hopefully Rooke runs straight through Crowley if he tries his dirty stuff! :D

He most certainly will try his dirty stuff. It's within the rules and did a better job on Ablett than any player has this year.

He should expect Mad Dog Maxy hot on his heels though.... That is a scary scary thought!

yes i think it is a horses for courses thing with Harry....

i would be extremely surprised if he isnt selected for our team to play Hawthorn :O

i hope it pisses down tomorrow!!! and brings back scenes of Round 20, 2004. All bar 2 Dockers were in long sleaves and they were wearing beanies on the bench......LMAO
i was never more condfident of a Cats win then that day

Prissa won't be a consideration for our match committee next year.
wouldnt be surprised if Pris actually gets a game and get another chance to show what he can do . would not surprise if there is a late change and one of the boys gets a rest.
