That's it for me. Over this garbage. Back in 2016 for more pain no doubt, but until then ... sack the coach.

Ambivalent to Leppa, either he is in a fog and hasn't a clue or he is smart as a fox and is rebuilding for the future. But that's not our problem, if and when we start winning us rusted on supporters will be swamped by fly by nighters till the next downturn. Our biggest priority is to develop loyal supporters. In every state. Can't rely on Brisbane alone. Our biggest challenge is to widen our national supporter base
P.S. Red cordial contains at least 12 grams of sugar per glass. (That's 3 teaspoons.)

4 goals in a game of footy says it all.

That was horrible to watch, couldn't imagine trying to convert somebody over to AFL in the modern era.

If the World Cup was to ever come to Australia, I'd seriously be worried if I was the AFL.

Do I have to pick 5? Not sure that many deserved a vote. It's a bit hard to read this game. We smashed them in every stat - contested posessions, clearances, tackles - but kicked 4 goals all day. I can't even.

If Leppa has any respect for this club he will walk away

Even with a full strength team, we somehow managed to produce garbage like that.

Not only leppa, but the majority of our coaching staff has to go. They have no ****ing idea what they're doing.

Where is Leigh and the rest of the brains trust in all this. Seems even Swanny has gone off the radar. Leppa is out their by himself. It's the whole package that needs a vision. We seem rudderless without any strong club leadership. I would like to see Jeff Kennett as our President. At least he would have a go.

Our worst performances this year have been when we have a more experienced side than the opposition. It's a big worry.

Not while dart throwing is more entertaining than the supposed best of the best soccer.

Won the disposals by 23 and won the clearances by 20!

Lost the I50's by only 6 and had 14 more tackles.

But we had 7 players under 60% DE, whilst Melbourne only had 3.

Lost the hitouts to Max ****** Gawn as well.

Dreadful, just dreadful game.

It's true that it was our most experienced team and really the first time our mids got to work together but you can not expect them to work and gell instantly. This year was always going to be tough. We have had an absolutely massive turnover on our list the last two years and I expect this year to be the same. You can't put a team on the park and expect them to work together straight away. It will get better!! We will still pinch a couple of wins this year. Leppa is taking this club in the right direction. Don't get me wrong it has been a bloody tough season, but once the guys play a few more games together it will improve and we will finish the year strong!!!

pft:rolleyes: 52,000 to a friendly match here on Friday night. 5x more ppl than today for a friendly game between a spanish and an italian team at MCG last night.

This season is a wipeout, the only news we hear is about maybe getting Suckling etc as our new great hopes. We owe millions, our membership is a disgrace, our admin from Leigh down are missing in action. How in the hell can we get out of this hole?

soccer didn't do itself any good last night.

Pre-season is still pre-season.

A-League was fantastic to watch last year and the EPL is one of the best sporting leagues in the world.

I stand firmly in believing that if we were to get the World Cup in Australia, it would be a big dent in the AFL.

Even if they havent played together, you still expect senior players who have played over 100 games to do the basics correctly.

That's it, the MCG where dart throwing drew the biggest roars. Plus the Vic taxpayers forked up $10M for the privilege and it cost $18 bucks to see the players kick 3 m to each other in a practice game. Anyway this is an Australian Football forum.
