STAR midfielder Deven Robertson led the way as Western Australia accounted for Vic Metro by 17 points in their round one match of the NAB AFL Under-18 Championships.


Robertson, the state captain and nephew of former West Coast skipper Darren Glass, had a match-high 31 disposals, as well as seven clearances, five rebound 50s and four inside 50s in a dominant display.

Billings and Marshall were pretty good too for my SC team.

Not a lot else to write home about though, it was the same old uninspiring performance we've seen time and time again under Richo.

The umpires were atrocious and favoured North but a good team would be able to overcome that and still win, we're a long way off being a good team though.

We have a number of talented players underperforming like Gresham, Acres and Coffield that look directionless and would probably thrive under a new coach.

It's not even a question of if we should get a new coach now, it's just a matter of when.

I have them a game behind for the whole season tbh. But yeah, it's very possible.
If you're tossing up this year between 15th or 16th then l guess you take the better pick. Though, l really really love beating Melbourne. It's a tough one..

It is hard to get an accurate gauge on our forwards because the game plan is so broken. They are constantly competing against 2-3 blokes. It must create a tremendous amount of pressure, as when you finally get some space or a one on one you have to capitalise as who knows when it will happen again. For a confidence player like Bruce, it is tough going.

I think in a decent side he look a lot better.

If he could stand and deliver deep in the forward line he'd be a lot more effective. When Rooey was there it made his life much easier too. As a lone tall who needs to roam it's a hard job.

Carlisle, Bruce, Clark were pretty good, Hind was always trying to do something whenever he got a sniff at the ball and Dunstan i thought played well.

Needed to get into Ziebell after he hit clark and go after Cunnington who tried hitting Dunstan from behind and whacked gresham off the ball.
