Riewoldt (vs Eagles) - Great form. Playing the Eagles. Which big forward has not teared them apart this year.

Pavlich (vs Port) - Again great form. Have Port got anyone to go with him?

If Glass is out, Roo is capt.
If Glass is in, Pav is capt.
Even if Gaz was back id still probably go one of these two :thumbsu:

I have a few options, but going with Cox.

No Kosi will mean the Saints have to restructure their forward line somewhat which means Roo could play a slightly different role this week.

Cooney will get tagged and has struggled with the tag, hasn't scored over 100 in the past 3 from memory.

Man did Goodes burn me this week. I know it's highly unlikely he will have 2 bad games in a row but I would be more annoyed if I did put him captain and he burnt me again rather than him scoring big and not having him captain.

Pavlich yeah maybe, but scored 28 last time he was at Footy Park.

Boomer could get tagged by Dunn, but he could also produce a big one.

Cox's lowest score in the last 4 weeks was 118, I would take that score this week.

finding my captain choice difficult this week.
options-
Pav- worries me at AAMI, could be a low scoring affair
Cox- should score well, but why do I have my doubts??
J. Brown- should also score well, is he 100% fit?
Boomer- would be a great safety, but would rather the big score, is he capable?

Oh, like everyone else f*ck I'm pissed off about Stiffy!!!:thumbsd:

Have had Cox all week but switched last night after the same 'gut feel'. Gardiner back in makes me think he will be targeted by both ruckmen. He is the only consistent quality player in the team at the moment so he would be my nmber 1 target to reduce impact.

Agree with all your other comments
Thinking Boomer or maybe NDS

Cox, Riewoldt or Cooney. The Gibbs thing is just a furfy...Cornes and Goodes were both carrying niggles and well below par. Cooney should go well.

Dal Santo got an early corky from memory and worked thru it...havent heard anything about how he pulled up or trained this week but it MIGHT take its toll this week..esp if well ahead they might not push him. VERY tempting though.

Cox and Riewoldt's form cant be denied...gonna keep running with one or the other.

Big ground...No Glass to concern Riewoldt, Blake might give it everything and run with Cox...Blake is one of the fittest in the game and they might try to tag Cox.

Cant see any reason not to expect a floor of 110 from Riewoldt so seems the safe option for solid upside. Riewoldt over Cox (just) this week for mine. Pav in form but had no opposition whatsoever last week.

My only concern with Roo is that he has bee flying with Kosi up fwd also having great games. No Kosi this week. Could change how the fwd structure works and...well.... I dont like change.:(

Cant see him having a shocker and could certainly have another massive game.

Oh man..want Ablett back so Cap'n choice doen't hurt my brain so much.

True...change sux coz it introduces uncertainty (and its a team game afterall)...that extra tall needing to be manned up must help him but we've seen Riewoldt in this sorta form many times before and he is a machine when firing.

PLUS..he plays a pretty good game at Subi..v freo he was awesome last yr from memory but his mids let him down and fired it everywhere he couldnt mark it..then they beat the weagles at subi and he was pretty close to BOG and the matchwinner in that game too. Even with Kosi out and double teaming him its still goning to be a tough ask just to contain him on a big ground.

u have
1. form
2. likes the ground
3. leaky opposition
4. noone worth a damn to play on him.

Hard to pass up as an option to Cox.

Hayes might be the monster in that game...could just run amok against young bodies.

Brent Harvey for me - the safest option I think. Cox with the foot injury (even though he's been burning) and Pav/Riewoldt away from home are all a bit risky.

I wouldn't think Harvey was the safest option.

He's only been about average the last few weeks and is likely to cop Dunn, who's done some good jobs against Goodes, Cooney, Black Foley, keeping all but Foley under 20 posessions. Harvey needs 25+ touches to score well, but could well be restricted to a lot less.

Roo has averaged 149 over the last 4 games and has 6 100+ pts from the last 7 games. Playing against the weakest defence(without glass) in the comp

Pav is 5 out 6 for 100+ games, no obvious match-up

Browny is 8 from 9 for 100+ pts games. Only 1 of Browny's has been under 115 and he's averaging just over 120 from his last 9 games. But there's the injury cloud

Hard one to pick

Who did Dunn take last week? I presume we didn't have anyone worth tagging...Schammer and McManus  both scored big.

Roo is the form player of the comp and is hard to go past.
According to the SC weekly newsletter Cox is leading the team in just about every stat so went with him as VC

Going Riewoldt.

Will be at the game too.

Is it wrong to be silently cheering him on? :o

That can only end in tears :thumbsu:

Murphy's law...Cox has another Blinder and Riewoldt does a hammie in the 1st...u'll hate yaself :D

Noone could realistically split Cox and Riewoldt this week without stretching for a reason.

Whats the bet someone like Hayes or Priddis tops the scoring in that game after all this Riewoldt/Cox talk.

^^Too true Bollox.

Rumours on DT board that Riewoldt is struggling with his knee?

I reckon I might go Dal Santo now.

WC have no mids to curb him and the time he'll have to hit forwards and teammtes will be huge.

YEah...NDS sounds good, esp after his 158 last week...

Going for Simon black this week as Franklin let me down big time last week.

Omg I can't decide.

Seaby in puts me off Cox.
Dal Santo has let me down a few times...
Pavlich?

Cox vs Pav vs Dal Santo!
HELP! :p
