Hear hear on the goalkicking practice for Benny and Clark Kent. Bloody awful in recent matches and Clark seems a bit nervy about taking the shot.

That's why you're in the side matey so get back on the horse and kick a few sausage rolls because % will be important as we aim to snaffle a top four spot.

regards,

REB

hamill back!

From theage.com.au

St Kilda will wheel in its inspirational forward Aaron Hamill a week earlier than first expected, just in time for the match of the round against Geelong on Sunday.

Hamill had hip surgery only last week, but has trained strongly enough at Moorabbin this week to convince the Saints that he is ready. He had been listed for a return against Adelaide next weekend.

"He had the same operation 18 months ago and he missed one week, played the next," coach Grant Thomas said last night. "He's actually pulled up better this time."

Hamill's return is significant since Geelong will now have three high-quality, marking forwards to cover on Sunday - Fraser Gehrig and Nick Riewoldt kicked 15 goals between them against Essendon last week with Hamill looking on.

****I imagine that this may see H selected as a possible matchup for Hamill, if Mooney is doubtful.

Cheers

Don't get me wrong, I'm pumped up for this match, but I suspect St Kilda wants this match more. We're playing for a slim hope of reaching the top 4, although it won't alter our finals hopes much if we scrape into fourth. We're also playing a little bit for revenge, but as Bomber said earlier this week, the real revenge match was against Carlton. Win and most likely we'll finish fifth, lose and we will probably finish fifth. St Kilda are looking to a top 2 spot. For me, I'm nowhere near as fussed about winning or losing this match as I am about the next time we meet. As long as we play great footy on Sunday and for the rest of the season I'll be relatively happy. If we beat St Kilda, all the better.

Wizz cup round 1. OK not the real season, but we still beat Port.

Now if only we can get the AFL to shift our matches to Cairns, where we are nigh on unbeatable

Congrats to Geelong.

Scarlett did a great job on Gehrig and you guys fought well all day.

out of interest, what were the inside 50 stats?

to me it seemed like stkilda had more I50's but for (once in a long time) i felt confident everytime we went long into the forward line we could score, with Graham playing well, and Ablett and Chapman there too.
