I know I said last week that I only had one upgrade to go but have changed my mind .... Will also upgrade my 2nd ruck which means only one trade for me this week...

Where are you sitting on your league ladder? If you are in a strong position I would consider keeping Higgins as he is likely to be back second week of the finals if you can hold off as you are running low on trades. At very least I would even wait a week if Lovetts BE isnt too low just so we can get an update on Missy that way you can 1. be sure that your decision to trade Higgins was right and 2. 100% guarantee that the player you trade Higgins to is actually playing 1st week of the finals.

Higgins > Pendlebury for me. Will have a tough game first week of the finals because our top 4 is pretty competitive, so copping a 0 will be a big problem. Leaves me with one trade remaining.

Not a trade question at all but didnt know where else to ask the question.

I am currently sitting 1st in my league on 13 wins.

With one roster match to go I play the team sitting 2nd on 12 wins.

I have a 4.44% bigger percentage.

So my question is, how much can i afford to lose by this week to retain top spot on the ladder?

I can probably afford a zero in my fwd line if both Murphy ($393k) and Higgins ($427k) are out. Still yet to decide which one is to go for Roo ($560k). Max cost of $200k. Is ROK ($670k) seriously that much beter than Roo?

I made sure my last three upgrades were three of the players that started as the most expensive - Ablett, Hodge and Riewoldt. Has worked well the last few weeks.

Hmmm.... After looking at all that it's still a tough call. Both have 2 home games left & both play Sydney.
Would be ideal to have both in your team but to give an answer I would go for Chapman if you have the extra cash. Only because they have Freo @ Skilled stadium in the Grand final round.

I'd take Pav over Goodwin. I think he's too good to ignore at his current price.

As for Rich v Haselby, that's a tough one. Rich is capable of pulling out bigger scores that Hase but has had some shockers as well. Hase has been more consistent, albeit around the 80-90 level each week.

I have 90K in the bank, 5 trades left. But still have Cox and Higgins in my side. Also have Liam Anthony who needs to be cashed in. I would ideally also need to upgrade Grima and M. Brown.

Just asking some advice ? Does everyone think I should trade out Cox and Higgins this week for replacements or hold off (and cop 1 zero), then have 5 trades left in the finals just in case I get more injuries. I am guaranteed top 4 in all 3 of my leagues. Will have to win in 2 to secure the minor premiership. Is it better to be conservative for this week?

I am worried if I make these trades too soon and then Higgins and Cox come back from injury then I have wasted them and may not get a chance to use Liam Anthony as an upgrade Cash Cow.

All sound like good trades but having only 1 left going into finals would really concern me. Certainly trade Cox but Grimes might be back this week or next and Skippy could come back soon too...especially if the Dons keep losing to sides like Richmond

Hmm true, im sitting top 4 in all my leagues, an i should be getting the double chance in each of them. Only got 15k to spend so lovett maybe out of my range next week. I guess i can asses the situation for 1 week, since lovett needs 110 to go up 15k. Ballantye as cover with pav back should see better scores all round.....Cheers for the advice, i really do hope higs is out for 2 weeks

IMO, no. ROK is a superstar, but I'd actually prefer Voldt if I had the choice from here on in.

I've got 5 trades, $237k. Got top spot sewn up in both comps (in 1 league I may drop to 2nd, but it makes no difference really). Had one eye on overall, but a terrible week last week saw me plummet to 485th, so am only going for league now.

Am happy enough to wait and see for Higgins with M Brown as cover. Would really love to go Dangerfield > Pendles before Pendles price goes up massively next week- unless I wanna do another downgrade, the $267k I have has to last, so pendles this week is my last shot for a 6th mid upgrade.

My question is should i sit tight after that (4 trades left after that)?? Grimes I can wait and see also, potential replacements both Hodge and Drummond should either drop or stay put, so that won't hurt. With my budgetary concerns though, maybe I should go Higgins > Buddy, befroe Buddy's price spirals out of control? Or maybe some other move??
