That was a nightmare of a game, we looked like a team who has only played one preseason game vs a match hardened side.

My changes Vs Richmond would be

Out - Jones(had a nightmare game, needs confidence) , Sinn (not good enough, weak)

In - Ratugulea, Lord/Visentini/Whitlock

We didn't have enough talls to protect the high balls into our defence, it could be just in Ratugulea and out Jones with Finlayson switching back to forward/2nd ruck.

If it was up to me I would never play Wines or Boak unless we have injuries. They have been very good players over their careers and Boaks game wasn't that bad, but they always seem to make these demoralising mistakes in big games that have been a trademark of the Ken Hinkley era. Wines gets alot of the ball but has no damage, Boak looks like he's played 2 years too many. I would like us to do a hawthorn and play the younger players Whitlock, Moraes, Barrett, Lorenz and see how many of them can make it.

Out: K Hinkley

Someone at the club needs to grow a pair and make the call on Monday. It is completely unacceptable to continue down this path and we'll have an exodus at the end of the season if we do. It will set us back years.
Agree completely. Unfortunately, the double whammy of an extra $1m payout on top of the $1.2m we didn't get from GFG would make that decision untenable for Koch. It would destroy his "legacy" of retiring our debt, which is all he now seems to care about.

Out:
Careless attitude
Lack of fight and endeavour
Appalling skills of every description
No work ethic
No two way running
No chasing

In:
Much more Intensity
Much more Desire
Harder at the body and the ball
No dropping uncontested marks
No missing targets 15m away by 5m
More one grabbing of the ball
No 35 seagull posession games, that have zero hurt factor (that means YOU specifically Mr Captain)
More manning up opponents
No more flying the white flag 15 minutes into the match 😡

That'll do for starters. Should improve us by 12 goals at least.
Personnel changes should count for another 4-5 goals improvement.

At this point, we just pay him not to coach. What do we have to lose? Just send him on leave until the end of the contract.

We dont have much in the cupboard to change. Joe Richards, Jack Lukousius, you bring in spuds like these and expect an uplift in performance and youre going to be disappointed. Personally after seeing Murphy Reid vs Berry too, Berry might become a gun, but Murphy is exactly the type of player we needed, a goal kicking mid. The disconnect between our list management and reality is stark. We're obsessed with nice looking players with good ball use but we lack ball winners and toughness everywhere.

Anyway, its clear we need a key forward to bust packs, so you've gotta play Ollie Lord. Georgiades cant be our number 1, neither can Luko.

Finlayson down back just isn't the right option. We'd be better off playing Burton tall.

Not sure we have much else that could come in and make a difference.

Oh all you sweet optimists calling for Walsh, Lorenz et al. Emergency list suggests we'll probably bring it Atkins and McEntee for Sinn and Berry for experience and that'll be that. When we eke out an uninspiring home win over spoon favourites Richmond, all will be right in the happy clapper's world again.

We are paying him anyway this year all we will have to do is slightly increase Carr's wage for this season and probably a hartlett to help in an assistants role for this year. So the debt increases slightly so what, kfc were supposed to give more $$ ken just has to go

Have not missed our first home game of a season since 2006, but after last nights no-show, I’m seriously considering skipping this one. Hope it buckets down with rain this Saturday and under 30k show up.

Bring in Lord or Soldo, you can't play Wines as a second ruck and first choice mid. It's insane. And we need some presence in the forward line.

SPP was just about invisible last night and he appeared to be playing on Houston so he was a double-liability. We love him but give him a chance to find some form and match fitness in the sanfl.

Mead is only any use as an inside midfielder. He found a bit of ball last night in the second half when he was in the guts but non-existent as a wingman. He has no weapons as an outside player. Use your heads, snapperheads. If he can't fit in the midfield, drop him. Put Richards or Berry on the wing.

Finlayson can't play again. Enough. In the words of Roberto Duran, No mas.

Jones makes me sad, I so want him to succeed but his capacity for self-sabotage is extraordinary. I would make him sub and bring in Burton. As much crap as Burton gets here, he was one of few who looked like an actual footballer last night.

Lord should never have not been picked in the first place. He's basically the only fit actual key forward we have on our list now (unless you count Esava, which I don't). Georgiades, Luko, Finlayson and Marshall are all mediums. And it's not like he was horrible in the half of the trial match he played, 6 touches, a goal and a really good contested mark is a decent half from a young KPF.

And we need more evidence of him at AFL level, not picking him first up is a confidence dent.

I don't know whether he'll make it or not to be honest, but lets find out back him in for awhile I mean what's there to lose at this point lol.

Maybe he got dropped because of that time someone asked him if he wanted to win a flag for Kenny and he said he wanted to win one for the club and the fans lol. Hangable offence at Keninkley FC.
