Sorry hate to say this, and to bash suck a young player. But holy **** Bootsma looked horrible, definitely not AFL standard. Did not look like helping his teammates out at all. Also, Davies offers nothing and Casboult un sighted again. And who the **** had McLean as sub? Worst decision ever.
Well done to Rowe, IMO showed heart and played a very satisfying game.

We had a couple of days extra rest.

Bootsma, not good enough. Shouldn't play again this season on that performance. Letting Elliot kick 5, 12 score involvements. He is not ready. Laidler was hopeless today justified why Mick didn't pick him last week, I'd rather have Duigan. That free not called on Armfield at the end, momentum crushing. Yarran again cost us with his kicking, that set shot before 3 quarter time, should of kicked it to make it 15. He played well though. Very, very good chance that we will now go 0-5. OUT: Laidler, Bootsma, Casboult IN: Duigan, Scotland, Warnock

Absolutely piss weak. How can you let a side that is one man down all game kick 7.5 in the last quarter?

They clearly wanted it more and worked a lot harder. VERY DISAPPOINTING. Judd and Murphy should be ashamed of their last quarter - summed up by Murphy's casual one handed effort on the wing at the start of the last quarter.

And Bootsma, if your opponent is continually embarassing you, show him some bloody respect and dont leave him 50m on his own. if he plays next week it will be a disgrace!!

Mclean only plays good when everyone else is tired, using him as a sub is heckin'g ******ed..... Is there some faceless men that run the selection here because no matter if it is Mick or Ratten there are some really stupid heckin'g decisions that happened today!!!

We still could have won it, Bootsma has to go, Davies too; Casboult is doing nothing. Not sure what is going on with Mitchell or Watson, but getting one of these guys in and shuffling it around isn't going to be any worse than what we've got atm.

But yeah, just a shocking display from the umps. Unbelievably bad. Turns me off the game of football tbh.

Carrazo, Armfield, Murphy are no where near their performance of last year. A bit worry about Murphy.
Bootsma - Don't know why he's still in the seniors, he has to be the skinniest player in the AFL at the moment.

likes of Bootsma, Davies, bell, Touhey had no ****in accountabilty whatsever and thats why the like of elliot slaughtered us.

we had no ****ing pride in the jumper whats so ever in that last quarter.

i apoligise to those offended by the language and also to the mods..... but that is a game we should not have lost.....

Beat me to it ! Not one to cry foul, but seriously, that was a very ordinary display by the umps ! 21-13 ! The remote almost went through the telly on numerous occasions. I thought we really deserved to win that, but we all know it doesn't always work out that way. heck !

Your boy Lucas can't tackle for shit. You carried on about Gibbs, where was he today? Back to his old tricks hesitating to go for the ball and waiting to tackle all the time. USELESS!

I called for 5 changes and people got on my back over it. Only 2 of them were dropped. The other 3 were terrible.

Tell me, who starred out of Touhy, Lucas and Casboult?

To make things worse, the nutcase coach of ours bring in Davies who can't play.

I thought the altitude training in Arizona was supposed to make sure we'd have the edge in battles like this, where the other team has been down a player all day, instead they kick 7 goals in the last quarter what a joke.

And how many times are Collingwood allowed to shepherd or outright hold our forwards away from a marking contest in our forward line?

Sorry to intrude, but thought you guys were fantastic today. Playing in front of a 85,000 crowd, the game lived up to the hype. The final margin wasn't a true indication of how you guys battled hard throughout.

Thought that push in the back was there, but hey, you can't get them all.

Great games by the usual in Judd and Murphy, but thought Gartlett played really well up forward including that late snap. Was very impressed by the agility of Sam Rowe too, great pick up for your mob.

Our sheepdogs simply cant get the ball and when it comes to them they all fumble so many missed opportunities out of the packs and middle. Despite Kruezers dominance his ruckwork sucks sfa went to our players directly ala cox or natanui .and we are building a team around this. Crazy

Laidler was horrible today. Completely missed the ball twice when he should have killed the contest with an easy spoil, letting Collingwood back in.

Armfield was very sloppy for most of the game and Murphy's casual one-handed attempts in the last quarter were truly terrible. Great leadership right there. Simpson also had a stinker for the first three quarters.

So disappointed, but Collingwood were far more deserving of the points because they wanted it when it counted.

On a positive note, that was the best game Garlett has ever played.

They had a lot of good players out, subbed early, against momentum and ran over the top of us. More poise and intensity especially from their bottom 6.

Fair call, but we had 4 of our best 22 out as well.

Just too many attempts at showponing it from our guys and not enough 1%ers. Our tackling is atrocious and Simpson, Carazzo, Laidler, Murphy, Casboult, Armfield are going backwards in form. We're in trouble and we need to either figure out something quick or just hope that 2014 we get it together.
