the point is Stef still scored 95 after getting wrecked in the ruck (which was always going to happen, it's NicNat).

How has his ceiling dropped? It's the opposite, his ceiling is higher with Luey out..

Looking forward to a few rounds in

NicNat has got 20+ disposals in a game like 2 or 3 times in his career, it's not going to happen often. 6 contested marks and 2 goals helps..

At the end of the day, a combination of Goldy, Stef, Jacobs, NicNat and Gawn was always going to do fine. It's just funny that everybody is going crazy over 1 big score.. he does that often.

There are a few players to come back but most of them aren't competing for his role

Richards will come in for Talia
McVeigh is still at least 1-2 weeks away and he will come in for either Robinson, Hewett or even Zak Jones
McGlynn is past his best and now borderline best 22 IMO
Ranga Rohan still at least 4-6 weeks away
The $64,000 question is who does Sam Reid replace? I'm tipping it wont be a small, maybe Towers...

I think Papley is safe provided his form is ok, probably more safe than Hewett TBH.

I would abosultely love it if Milera played this week and kicked 5 goals, and Papley gets 3 touches, 3 FA and scores 0.1 for 10 SC points, only to be dropped.

I see where you are coming from but it just makes it a bit of a lottery whether to keep Milera or trade him to Papley. The smart thing would probably be to keep Milera and conserve the trade but you would want the one who has better money making potential. Would just have to wait and see if they were named for round 3. They could both be dropped for round 3

If Toby Greene isn't named think I'll bring BenKen into my forwards and trade in Rich who will be in my mids till I can swap him into my defence later in the year...not sure Rich is a defensive keeper though.
