I loved the partial lockout and it did work smoothly, apart from the loophole where people named a Carlton/Richmond player as vice-captain and then manipulated their captaincy selections the following day if their vice-captain (e.g. Eddie Betts - 136) had scored well.Strange they wouldn't do another partial lock out again for this round as it worked smoothly last week. Probably not as critical as round 1 but could have come in handy when deciding on emergencies.

Whats the purpose of Vice-Captain???
He gets double points if your named captain doesn't play.Whats the purpose of Vice-Captain???

Yeah, plenty of teams would have had a bloke on the pine who they could click on as a non-playing captain (e.g. Buddy, Rockliff). He gets double points if your named captain doesn't play.

A little inconsistent there.
Yerp, I wouldn't be risking Carl Peterson / JKT / Mitch Duncan / James Podsiadly or any other 'maybes' on the field.A more important question...I presume Mondays teams won't be named until Friday arvo? And Sundays squads will be named only a couple of hours before lockout on Thursday arvo?
