Yes, but I would think given the heavy PS program the AFC officials will think being around the team environment and expreiencing the travel routine will be more beneficial.

That's an interesting one. I would have thought he would be better off getting another game under his belt, given he is pressing for selection.

As an 18 year old and having worked as hard on his PS as he has, most kids will run out of steam in the second half of the season (and most will not have worked as hard as Van berlo) so giving him a week off now I think may benefit him as well as the experience.
