They'll put up a fight for 1-2 quarters, then we will stomp them.

4 points and no injuries/suspensions as a minimum please.

Would like to see some signs that we’re snowballing towards September with our ball movement and scoring.

Looking forward to Lewis kicking his first.

Its go time.

I know Thursday nights suck for attendance but let's hope we can get a big crowd in tonight. Feel like forever since we were last at the G.

I expect that we should be winning tonight, and our midfield to just look a bit more polished.
Hopefully we pump em.. we want a top 5 draft pick!

These pr*cks are slow as a snail so we should be getting them on the rebound. This will also be emphasised by the two huge marking targets in Lewis + Dear.

I'm hoping we can have a nice lead by halftime but just as importantly I'd like to see us playing more fluidly. It would be great to see control the flow of the game and secure a solid victory.

Hoping to really put these pricks plummeting down the ladder, by securing ourselves with a top 5 pick, to get Butters/Harley at the end of the year.

Excited to see what the boys can do in decent weather conditions.

We're about to see Dear and Lewis for the first time in forward-friendly conditions, while also adding Will Day to the midfield mix.

pumped.

Lewis really will make things interesting. Defences suddenly have to be stretched by a genuine tall target as a focal point. Then you have two very awkward match ups in Dear and Gunston, who seem to be able to get marks in a variety of ways that you wonder how they managed that, but also when the ball hits the ground stay just as dangerous. Mitchell has been coy and/or deflected about Gunston's form all year. I think it is under-stated how dangerous of a trio this could be if we get it up and running. I'm also interested in the flow on effect on Moore, CMac, Watson, Ginnivan etc. CMac last year was relatively quiet until we ran out a three tall set up and suddenly had a big impact. Defences have been set up to swarm this smaller players, but it will be much harder if we are putting sides under more pressure aerially, and their best defenders are stretched.

Percentage is just as important as the four points

Day 25 and 3 goals.

Just on the Adelaide game for a brief moment, (sry Mods)
I'm thinking we may need to play Chol, Mitch, Dear and Gunston.
Being exactly like a final in terms of pressure, players may have to kick long to a contest more than desirable. Lewis and Choll give us much more structure, forcing the defenders to man up on them.

This gives more opportunities for Dear and Gunston. Dear is still 19yrs old. Last year was no fluke. Dear also loves running up to the wing to impact the game.

I think we can and should try playing all of the above players. Dear doesn't make us slower. And the kid loves tackling. I've noticed Gunston chasing and tackling, Chol also has dramatically improved his chasing and tackling.

Then you can add the smalls. This gives us considerable flexibility because we can instantly revert back to 3 Talls by using the bench.

If this is successful then we have an equally good Plan A and B. In finals you often need to kick long inside 50 due to the 2.0 plus pressure rating.
If we kick it to the advantage of our forwards they will be very difficult to stop.

We can try it during this red hot Adelaide game and if it's not coming off, we can always use the bench for balance and at worst, sub a player out. I'd love to see this in action.

We should storm the field ala buddy's 100th goal against them in 2008 and completely take the emotional wind out of Carltons sails
