Funny on SEN around the grounds saying that we got schooled in the middle and Pyke in the ruck by a 3rd gamer , also saying people out Sydney say we are no chance this year not good enough

You should of rung in

I've always said, "who cares what other people think?" No-one (media/BF) rated us last year and we won the flag.

couldnt agree more

very few in the media even get their analysis on sydney right, then even when we win the flag they stress that we werent the best team, they can go and get properly stuffed

this team is capable of winning the 2013 flag.

Are you two still talking about the St Kilda game, the grand final, ringing up SEN or having a domestic?

I’m sure this thread has a purpose other than talking about the views of our premiership chances by Melbourne's great unwashed on SEN or debating punts perceived pessimism.

oh we are fractured CAS:D , resume the saints talk

No need to panic. Against Collingwood, our boys thought they could just turn up and it would happen. They were wrong.

One last chance for Jesse White this week. Either he shows something against the Saints, or the experiment is over.

Lamb must come back in. And play R.Shaw on the HBF. The talk of G.Rohan is a fantasy.

IN: J.Lamb
OUT: B.Jack

Agree , lamb for jack. I'm not sure if I'd have lamb as the sub but on the other hand I'm not sure who else i would choose

This makes me happy, I much prefer when people start disregarding and writing us off. It happened at the end of last year when we lost to the top teams in the last 4 rounds but we all know what happened in September, premierships are not won in August!

For those that didn't see the stickied thread, the latest episode of the Swans board podcast is available here:

http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/index.php?threads/1025423/

In it, we review last week's disappointing loss to Collingwood and look ahead to this Sunday's match against St Kilda.

Let us know what you think!

If Collingwood were brilliant as the media keeps crapping on about and we were ordinary which was true then how they only won by 29 points leaves me clueless. We dropped only our fourth game for the year against our bogey side last week. Already all media outlets and supporters of oppositions and our own supporters once again begin to write us off. Personally if rather be the underdog as there is less pressure on us but I believe it shows a lack of respect towards our great club. Anyhow this week mark my words we will put in a four quarter effort against the Saints and win by about 10 goals. Even still it won't be good enough for most as whenever we play a bottom side we are supposed to win by 100 plus points apparently. So that's my daily vent over :) bring on the finals so Sydney can prove everyone wrong once again and go back to back. #B2B13

Just listened to the Swans BF podcast (great work guys!), and to add my two cents, the Saints defence has been smashed by injury and old age, and are staffed by a couple of short people. Although it's probably a bad long term strategy, if we continue to bomb it long it might actually work this week. Ideally this happens once the small forwards and mids push hard to crumb the ground ball and lock it in.

Make forward pressure acts the KPI for this game.
