Trades Round 21 trades

Gaff, most traded out player this week.

For those more into league than rank,
Curious as to the strategy of others through to the prelim and week off.

Clearly teams playing GC & Carlton are the go.
Ablett against his old side GC in round 23 for a grand final fail or master stroke.

Heeney -> Dunkley

Need to miss out on Abbott until next week, might be too late by then. Might just need to drop oscar for a 170ker

edit: Might actually get Abbott and Macrae. 321k warchest for the rest of the season. Can bench Heeney for Walters who plays the blues this week, and get Dunkley next week when he plays the blues.

Yep, I think I've decided to prioritise league finish rather than overall from here (currently 5588th).

Through to both prelims so looking ahead now.

Had pegged to do one down one up this week to get Ahern to Menegola/Dunkley, but with Gaff out I may do some lateral thinking and go:

Gaff > Menegola
Ahern > Dunkley

And then next week trade Curnow for the best looking option out of Macrae/Oliver/Cripps.

Okay, time to get creative in playing for ranks:

Gaff -> T. Adams (nice run home against Brisbane and Freo, will get plenty of quality midfield time, tackling pig)
Rockliff -> Dunkley (I don't trust him, but having tonned up in 5/6 matches and a run home that includes Carlton and North...)

Could've gone Gaff -> Oliver but that means I'll have to retain Rockliff.

I imagine a few here are tossing up between Menegola or Dunkley.

Dunkley's form is hard to argue with. Tons in 5/6 last games, average 111 from last 5. Next games against North, Carlton, Richmond
Menegola also in good form second half of season. In last 10 games, only 2 scores in the 80s + 6 tons + 2 90s. Next games against Hawks, Freo, Gold Coast.

Who would you pick?

Have the week off so looking to double downgrade. Would you guys trade out the injured J Smith (my def cover) and Andrew Brayshaw, or trade out McInerney, Spargo, even Curnow etc who may lose cash while the others will maintain their value? I'm just hesitant to hold injured players due to inevitable carnage later.

Wines - Oliver/Beams

Upgrade forward line or midfield?

It's tough..

I would have been happy with a 90 from Heeney this week.. whereas you want a 110 from a midfielder. So considering they both got 60 odd.. the midfielder may be better. But wines should go bigger next week

Heeney gone next week. Would have been Ablett out instead of Gaff if the 'incident' hadn't happened, but hopefully Ablett has a fire up his ass and plays like the superstar he is.

Won all 6 of my leagues, so just playing for rank now. Trying to make top 500 but still 193 spots off

Ablett's record against Hawks is just insane. Think he has a ridiculous run of 100+ scores, can't remember the exact number but safe to say that he will be very good next week.

Kelly or Oliver for Gaff - Oliver's run home doesn't look as good as Kelly's and worried that Hewett may run with Oliver next week.
