After the first quarter omnishambles, they tried to play a more free-wheeling style. But it was clear it has been coached out of them and they know not what they are doing. That’s why you had the shitty little handballs to a teammate under as much pressure.

They really need to rethink strategy in the offseason. This park the bus bullshit as plans a to y (with whatever we saw after quarter time as plan z) is not the answer. It is boring plus it loses us too many games. Something radical needs to change before next season or we might as well book our next couple of end of season trips early.

First quarter looked very much like the fourth last week. Oppo had done their homework. We did correct after that but damage was done. Noone cared enough to rise above it.

Our disposal, particularly off half back, is appalling. Opposing players capitalise on this time and time again. Our skills kill us, and our structures and manic running make it hard for us to defend the inevitable turnover.

If Travis could ever dispose cleanly to a player in a better position, his game would be elite. As it was I thought he played well.

Frampton looked like a keeper. If only he'd been given a few games earlier.

Hoff was wonderful. Should win the BnF. I hope Polec doesnt.

Ryder played a good game. Polec was ok. Wingard was ok. Boak and Ebert were ok. Billy taking 4 big grabs was promising.

Thats where the positives/break evens ends.

Hombsch is finished. Delist. He's played one acceptable game this year and a whole lot of crap. He can't run, he can't change direction, he can't kick. Sad, but he's finished. He's been well beaten by some absolute crabs this year.

Neade. Well that matched my expectation. I'm glad we got to see him do **** all for the 60th time. Houston played his worst game of the year. SPP was just plain bad. S Gray not much better. Pittard with some classic clangers. Farrell did some really poor defensive things but he'll learn. Watts and Motlop finished off a disappointing year with a disappointing game.

All up, thank god that year is over.
