Unfortunately this is likely to be the last AFL game I can watch live as in January I will be moving to Madrid for most likely two years possibly even more depending on how the job goes. I would love nothing more than to beat the Hawks, I am sick of losing to them!

I really wanted to see my team play finals this year but that is now a very unlikely possibility. I am going to miss going to the football, celebrating goals and being with the black and white army while we are abusing the umpires for trying to rob us yet again .

Thank god this game is a Friday night game (great time slot). I have always loved Friday night football as waiting for Saturday's and Sunday's was just too long of a wait when I was a younger. I am really pumped about this game!

hehe - yeah thats my thought as well... a sneaky back way to get into the 8 would be if Hawthorn have wrapped up top spot and use it as a rest game. Unfortunately, I don't think Clarkson coaches the Hawks like that, and they would much rather be pushing to have as much momentum as possible leading into the finals.
