It amuses me how the result of this game is used as evidence to assess Buckley’s coaching.

Why? Clarko simply used Buck's plan and CFC's method to beat the Tiggies up around the clearances and to pressure them into mistakes. You've gotta remember Richmond fails against US more than just about any other side. Clarko's Hawks (as good a coach as he is) hadn't beaten the Tiggies in a couple of years (or 4-5 games). Just goes to show, Bucks is a pretty fair coach too.

Just on the match review panel....I see Jack copped a fine for "striking" Sicily but didn't Ivan Soldo hit Ricky Henderson resulting in the Hawthorn player taking no further part in the match?

Did they forget that? Isn't that by definition, a "week off" these days?

WB's form tonight makes our win against them look that much better. You could argue that WB wanted to play that way in Rd 1, but we didn't let them.

That said, they have done us no favours. Can't see GWS losing 3 in a row next week.

Fair point, but luckily for us the press in Sydney is not as in to Aussie Rules as their Melbourne media counterparts, so GWS shouldn't feel much of a sting from them.
