Roast Round 3 post game rant thread

I haven't given Joe Anderson much respect over the last few weeks because of his poor disposal and fumbles in front of goal, but after seeing Andrew Walker in the first half tonight it's clear that he has 1 thing Walker doesn't. Courage. Not only has Walker's disposal been extremely poor tonight but he doesn't want to go near any contests. Either stick him at full forward so he isn't anywhere near the play but he might jagg a couple if he's not too far out.

Give me Joe Anderson any day. Leave Walker in the VFL.

Walkers been given more than enough chances... might be time to cut our losses

Would have been good as trade bait while he still had some currency, as it stands now, we'd struggle to get any interest

Walker and Thornton should be sent back to the Bullants asap, they aren't upto it.

We desperately need options up forward. O'Hailpin has plenty of endeavour, but his execution is terrible

There are too many passengers who don't seem serious about playing and dedicated themselves as footballers.

This loss is unacceptable, and Ratten needs to have a good hard look at himself.

The awful thing is, it's only a few minutes after the game is over and the anger is already subsiding into sadness. It really feels like we have not progressed as a team to watch that shit get served up tonight.

The icing on the cake is watching the yellow maggot **** razor ****ing ray add insult to injury through his unique interpretation of the rules, but we have no one to blame but ourselves.

I'm not about to get on the whole 'sack ratten' bandwagon, but he does seem to show little passion on gameday. Every time they cut to him in the box he just looked bored and dumbfounded. Give me Parkin's throbbing forehead vein any day.

I want the passion back.

Skills have not improved under him.....do we even practice them ????
No logic in his game plan.
Refuses to make changes to try and change the flow of the game.
We are reactive and not proactive.
No idea what we are doing when we kick in after a behind.

Ratts can lift, but he needs the guys to execute, and put some effort in

Warnock also needs to lift

Too many passengers on the Blues bus. WTF is going on with Gibbs ? Our delivery into the forward line is terrible. We don't even look like we've improved. The way were going it's a 1-6 start for us and season well and truly over.

disagree about him making changes. simpson forward last week, waite back this week, both had an effect.

our skills are just woeful. tonight was straight out of the spoon years. i really don't know how they've ended up this bad.

Outcoached again tonight from a team with maybe only 2 or 3 good players playing

Let's be honest Warnock has offered very little in his 3 games so far, if Hampson was fit he would be playing.

I think there has been enough threads made regarding our skills over the last year, they are not getting any better.

TBH, neither is the coaching.

Time to clean house, sticks out, Ratten out, get non carlton people involved, outsiders who call a spade a spade and will piss spuds like walker off once and for all.

It is scary, truly scary, when 2 players like carrotts and scotty are close to our better performers tonite, YES they tried, but they wouldnt be getting a game in the top 6 sides.

The word is "gutless" for tonights efforts, they lost before the game started.
