I’m not interested in the crappy cheap def options - Lockhart, Wilkie and Rotham, so I’ll just keep Ho. If one of the 3 miraculously morphs into a decent fantasy scorer I can still jump on before a substantial price rise.

So my trades are Hanley to Scrim and B Scott to Libba, Walsh to mid bench. Libba forecast to rise $30+k this week, roughly the same as B Scott. Dunkley in the last chance saloon.

Really not sure what to do... the trades to "fix" things honestly feel really bad.
Not really any players I want to go down to this week. Maybe Billings to Burgess or Petrucelle. Not keen on newnes or going up to boak.

Billings to Rozee/Powell, if rozee bring parker on ground. Then goldy to gawn? Trading cripps makes your mids look thin(ish) to me.

Stupid Thursday games.
Ideally could've gone
Higgins to Powell
Smith to Whitfield.

Might still do the second one next week. With any luck, price rises will be similar ($20k ea)

I really like my mids. I see cripps to rockliff as like for like. Don't mind what you're saying though. I'll have a look at Rozee and Powell.

Option 3 nets you the most points imo. Wouldn't pick Goldstein with Campbell in the side. I have Nank and he seems good. If option 1 was Nankervis or Witts instead of Goldy I'd like it more.

Also what do you think of Petrecelle's JS as an Eagles fan? Currently will trade in either him or Collins depending on his job security.
Thanks mate. Think I’m going to go the risky option with Goldy to Mummy.

I think Petch will keep his spot at least until Rioli comes back in like 6 weeks. His pace is a real asset for us and he’s actually demanding a spot rather than being given a go. The only risk was that he would make way for Cripps but Venables is the one that went out so I think he’ll stay for long enough to max out his price.

Yeah going to do it. More to gain with the Billings to Rozee trade than Cripps to Rockliff trade I think (should average the same for only 90k difference). Even though cripps will cop the tag this round. Goldy to gawn feels bad given Gawns high be and still unsure he will achieve 100+ this season.

Libba down to a rookie and Ridley to Lloyd? Does that work, would have to bring Hoare on for the VC loophole
Obviously Libba has plenty of cash to make but the difference between Libba and Walsh is maybe 15-20 points max, while the difference between Ridley and Lloyd is about 70 points.

Yeah that's a fair point.

I have most of the decent mid rookies already though.

Wagner? 66 in round 1, BE -1 and forecast to rise 30k. JS obviously scratchy as he was dropped for round 2, but could be worth a punt.

Just realized I don't even have enough cash to get to Lloyd, but I like the Libba downgrade.

Libba to LDU is all im considering. No way im risking libba on someone like wagner. Libba is going great guns. Good on you for nailing the mids though. Gives you room to make those kinds of gutsy decisions.

Yeah as above, it means I'm starting Walsh which I don't hate, so not as if I'm starting the rookie I bring in, but I'm very conscious I'm not getting cash generation from a few rookies now so need to keep an eye on it. Missed a trick on Butters.

Butters has been ok. I actually traded him out for more of the acceleration you're talking about. Been happier with constable.

Libba has a be of 20. Still plenty to squeeze out of him.

That's why I'd rather not ditch! But I do get the argument that Walsh on field with crisp should theoretically outscore Libba on field with Hore/Ridley/Lockhart.
